Who do you think will be the Republican presidential nominee? These are my top 4 contenders.

We will see next year who the winner is!

Rudy Giuliani

Ron Paul has about a snowball's chance in hell of getting it.

rudy is a scum bag. he's no politician, he's entirely running on 9/11, if he can get off that he'd be a better candidate, but he still has no good credentials.

I've spent my day researching McCain and Paul...

and god damn! Ron Paul is the fucking man!

RON PAUL/MIKE GRAVEL 2008 !!! WOOO!

I voted Ron Paul, However, it will probably be Rudy, as all our "elections" are merely selections by the elites (elections are openly stolen), and this year will be no different. Doesn't matter though, as it is time to pass the torch to Hillary, as the false left/right paradigm will continue.

i don't like none of them there all fake and everything (all of them both sides)say they'll do for us the people will never happen anyways.they all preach about all the stuff they'll do and then never do it so... u know how that goes but if i'd have to vote it might be ron paul maybe.im so over it all dem..rep.. but for sure don't want a dem in there so wishy washy and i don't think they have the brains or balls to stand up and defend our country and if they do then they'll be hero's but if a rep does it he's just a crazy fuck oh well

Absolutely, especially if he can draft Condie Rice for his VP running mate.

I really like Ron Paul and his wording for what he is.
A Constitutionalist.
Thats a great thing.
His ideas for our budget, foreign policy are a big step in the right direction. Not sure that he would legalize it but it looks as though he would decriminalize or reclassify. Which is again a step in the right direction.
Little steps or big leaps I don't care at least its the same direction.

I think this may in fact hurt him with backlash against the war in general. Logical? Perhaps not. But since when have the American voters acted with nothing but pure reason? :D

I hope you are joking. So sick of hearing this nonsense. Do a little research. You will find plenty of Dems with guns-a-blazin', and as far as brains goes...but I will now concede to the final point in your signature and not argue.

As far as the Republican party is concerned, Ron Paul is the only one who should even be allowed on the poll, as he is the only one who actually represents Republican ideals... not the neo-con crap that has been rammed down our throats for the past couple of decades.

Unfortunately, as Breukelen so astutely put it, Paul doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell... so now I have to make my mind up with the Democrats, which have been fairly disappointing leading up to this election considering how much strength they should have with rallying a country together that has been disheartened by a small group of giant, greedy assholes.

ahh finally..the tension was really buildin up there..haha not

umm I wouldn't mind if Obama one on the realistic level, ya know, besides Ron Paul. My reasoning: I think we can all agree that the popular vote won't tolerate a republican of any kind regardless of merit at this point. It follows that the presidential race will essentially be decided in the democratic primary between likey Obama and Hillary. I'll take Obama all day on that and all of you should as well! Gotta be realistic I hate sayin it but don't 'throw' your votes away let's settle for what we can get!! :rasta: Had Nader not gotten somethin like 8-15% of the popular vote in the 2004 election and it went directly to Gore instead the election woulda been clear.

I have no beef with Obama. But I think Hillary will get the nod. Maybe he could be her VP; that'd solve his 'inexperience issue' later on down the line. I kinda like Edwards' plans for health care better than anyone else's though. The Republicans don't even seem to *have* much of a plan for health care. I think in their minds, the country is 'working as intended'.

Just saw there's another two-faced Republican politician who got busted for public lewd (and most likely gay) antics in a bathroom. These guys don't *want* to win. They've shot themselves in the foot so many times they're all in wheelchairs now from lack of feet.

Rudy Can't Fail!:D

Terrorists hit the trade center in 93, rudy fails to give police and firemen the ability to communicate, and puts the comand center in the fucking trade center. A few hundred firemen die needlessly. Rudy says come on down, a thousand tons of asbestos won't hurt you, a few thousand more die from cancer. Terrorists 2, rudy zero. And that's his strong point.

I have voted Republican since I was 18, but at this point I am very likely to vote Democrat or Independent. I really want Bill Richardson to win the democratic nomination.

God please no more conservative domination.

Howdy Y'all,

Fred Thompson ain't on the poll, yet he could very well git the nomination...why you may ask ?

Because Rudy is pro-abortion and anti-gun and pro-homosexual,gay marriage..and I and millions upon millions,of Christians,will NOT vote for any pro-abortion or anti-gun,and pro-gay marriage,candidate.

A major organization and rallying of Christians with pro-family values is taking place now, being led by the(late) Jerry Falwell's son.

fuck rudy......he's another security nut war monger who's plan is to pick up right where Bush and his clan of buttboys left off. his use of 9/11 in his campaign is so fake and corny....GET OFF OF IT....it happened 6 years ago - find something else to campaign on!

I also find him cocky, full of himself and very unprofessional .... he totally makes me sick the way he has acted during the debates.

Ron Paul all the way - do your research ... the man supports what this country was founded on. If you want to continue to have your privacy and rights violated (as they have been for 6years) be my guest, and vote for rudy

Ron Paul, is the best man for the job. Every other republican is gaurenteed to suck as far as I'm concerned.

Ron paul seems to be the only completely honest straightfoward candidate out there. Also, the only candidate that I believe will make positive and lasting change for the better.

Yes, I want Ron Paul to win. No, I don't think he'll make it. I think Giuliani will be up there, as sad as it is.

So, I don't know why there are so many votes on this poll for Ron Paul. Is it just hopeful thinking? Because the question clearly asks who you think will be the republican candidate - not who you want it to be.

One of the cool things about being in New Hampshire is that sweet first-in-the-nation primary status. Some of us Free-Staters (http://freestateproject.org) have started up a campaign to get each of the presidential candidates captured on video, having to answer tough question about the War On (some) Drugs. The campaign is being called "Send the Right Message"

Send The Right Message! (http://sendtherightmessage.com/)

Personally, I think Ron Paul is the only choice, because he's 100% against the War in Iraq and also 100% for ending the War on Drugs. That's why so many of us in NH are holding rallies for him, staffing booths at fairs, writing letters to the editor, and doing everything else we can.

Pro-Freedom all the way, baby.

i have been studying ron paul now for a few months, since someone on this very forum mentioned it. I went to see him at a rally today, and i just have to say... there is no other choice. He really cares... do you get me? You could read it in every bit of his body language, and the character of his family. All he wants to do, is right, guided by the laws that govern america, and liberty.

We need somone different, somone who understands personal liberty, freedom of the individual with minimal involvment from the government, is what the consitution demands, and as either military, or political office, you must swear an oathe to it. He knows that the people with the truth, can govern themselves... this isn't a new man, simply a new era of communication and technology. We must have faith in our founders.
