I was wondering if a felony conviction, would stop you from qualifying for a Medical Card. Even if your Medical Records, show that your symptons would qualify you for a Card or Recomendation?

No, it will NOT impact getting a card! Would having a felony conviction interfere with your getting treatment for pneumonia? Your legal history and your medical history have little to do with each other. And speaking of felons and MMJ....

The law reads " Any criminal defendant who is eligible to use marijuana pursuant to section 11362.5 may request that the court confirm that he or she is allowed to use medical marijuana while he or she is on probation or released on bail. " So basically, you can use (with the court's permission) even while on probation or out on bail!

"California's medical marijuana law does not require the accommodation of any medical use of marijuana on the premises of any jail, correctional facility or other type of penal institution.." So even if you are a legal user, they don't have to give it to you while you're in jail. - Granny
