I got 20$ worth last friday and 20$ more on tuesday. I have been saving it to smoke with my girl for saturday. But she had to go somewhere and wont be back tell july 2. if i save the weed tell then will it get old? and lose its potency?

It will be fine as long as its stored okay. Plastic baggy should be fine, if you feel like taking some precautions go with a jar. That is like in a week so you really have nothing to worry about either way. There was a thread a while back where someone smoked weed that was 30 years old and it still got them high.

If you've got the money, smoke it now and enjoy it. If you cant get anymore untill she comes back, save it. As long as you store it somewhere air tight in the dark the potency will stay exactly the same. Just make sure it's dry coz you dont want mold.

just like some have mentioned..the key here is no moisture or oxidation. keep it in a mason jar. put it in a ziplock bag and then put that bag into another bag or two. it wont be completely airtight, but more sealed than the average plastic baggy i guess.

i dunno..its a fairly simple problem you have. your biggest worry sounds like you not being able to hold out until the 2nd.
