I don't know if this would be considered one but I feel like I almost died.
I was outside at night trying to see if I could catch this ( Human Space Flight (HSF) - Realtime Data (http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/index.html) ). So I was outside at 9:06 PM and there was a thunder/lightning storm. I wasn't raining, just thunder and a little bit of lightning.
Well, I decided to walk out to the middle of the road to get a better view all around me. In the process of walking across the driveway, I had a flashback of a n episode on the Discovery Channel of a man being struck by lightning within a few minutes of walking out his front door. I started wondering, "Would a person really attract lightning towards themselves by walking out to the middle of a wide empty area"?
Well, I just shrugged it off, because I really wanted to see if I would be able to catch a glimpse of something (doubted it). Anyways, I walked out to the road and within 5 seconds a huge lightning came out of nowhere right near me. It was probably pretty far from me but all I saw was a flash of light and a really really loud bang. At that moment I literally shit my pants and instantly I dove under my dad's truck. I think it was the loudest noise I've ever experienced! At that moment, I just got up and jetted into the house, screaming my fucking head off. The whole neighborhood probably saw my screaming and running across the road.
The storm has been going on for a few hours and the several times I've checked outside the lightning was a few miles away from this area. All of a sudden it just struck down right next to me. Once I got back in the house, I looked outside and the lightning and thunder is back several miles back.
I never even got to see the satellite....
TL;DR: I'm sorry...

Lucky man!
By the way, it's better to get inside of the truck then beneath it. If you are inside of a car, and lightning strikes it, the lightning will dissipate throughout the chassis, and it won't come into you unless your seats are metal and are connected to the chassis.

One of my friends (whose psycic) was standing outside during a storm with three of her friends last week smoking cigs. Out of nowhere she was just like MOVE! and pushed them back, then a bolt of lighting struck right where they were standing ..shits crazy

I would say this "flashback" was an omen... a warning... i think calling it a "coincidence" would be an understatement.

erm... iwas in the back seat of a nissan 240sx (that a friend stole) when a cop flashes his lights (lmfao, he was trying to pull over the guy infront of us.. that was the most fucked up part about it all) well... of course since WE knew the car was stolen, my friend (driving) freaks the fuck out... and floors it, ducks off onto an off ramp (right before we got to it, so the cop had to take the next one) and we start heading down a dark ass two lane street, going 120+ few blocks down we see the cop coming after us... he keeps flooring it (i didn't want to die, so by this time i'm telling him, look stop the fucking car, let me and my bro out, the cop is way the fuck back there you can still run) but he wouldn't stop... so now i'm freaking out, cuz i just KNOW i'm going to die... we jump over some railroad tracks (still going 120) that had a pretty steep ass upgrade.. come down hard (it hurt my back landing) and we came within just inches of clipping the front of an undercover off-duty cop that just happened to be there (complete coincidence he wasn't even in his squad car with the radio and shit) narrowly miss hitting a few things... now we've gone a good mile or two from where the chase started, and we're coming up, to a direct right turn (i'm talking 90 degree angle) onto a feeder, with ditches on both sides of it... there's no room to 'drift' around the corner... but this dumbass still keeps it at a solid 120.... he tries to turn, back end swings out, goes off the road, and hits the ditch, car does roughly about 2 1/2 flips (landing on it's top, also the front wheels were completely ripped from where they were supposed to be.. turned in towards one another) i didn't even have my seat belt on... but none of us actually got hurt.. my brother got a knot on his head, and i bumped my knees together leaving them extremely sore and bruised...
afterwards, before the cop was actually there, my friend takes off running, and i tell my brother don't run, follow my lead (hey, i may have 'snitched' so to speak, but i told that mother fucker to let us out... no reason for us all to go to jail...sides, he had four warrants for stolen cars already, me and my bro had nothing) me and my brother crawl out, and lay on the ground and basicly get in the submissive position... when ti came time for the questioning, we tell the cops the story of how he told us he bought the car from his dad.. and we even told him to stop the car and let us out but he wouldn't.... he 'proved his own guilt' so to speak by running... me and my bro went home that night, and he went to county for 6 months.. got out (remember he had four warrants already for the same thing lol) not even 3 weeks after he was out, he got locked up again, for another stolen car.... i don't talk to him anymore...
copied from another thread.. this and punch a window was my closest near death experiences (another 1/16 inch and i would have completlely ripped, not cut, ripped the vien suicidal people cut to die... i surely woudl have died...)

my last near-life experience was probably about 8 months ago, back in october.
i had stolen something that my friend had stolen from a fraternity's lawn, and my friend was chasing me and we were running on the sidewalk alongside the road on our campus, and without even thinking or looking at all, i ran into and through this intersection. and about halfway through the intersection, it all started to happen in slow-motion for me. my head started to swivel slowly as i looked up and saw a red light, and then my brain realized that the direction crossways had a green light, and without even thinking to look toward my right my head continued to swivel to the left (all of this while i'm still running through the intersection) and i saw a car coming about to go through the intersection.
but by this time, i'd already made it more than halfway through the intersection, so i realized i wasn't in danger of being run over, but then i thought about my friend chasing my right behind me, and i continued my swivel to the left as i turned around back toward him and threw my hands up in the air and yelled "nooooo!"
he took like one step into the intersection and then jumped back, it was scary, i saw HIS life flash before my own eyes.
