Long hair on guys

I heard something about how girls dislike it when guys have long hair; some dude was asking for advice on how to pick up women, and someone told him to cut his hair.

Anyway, ladies, what's your opinion of this? I'm not talking ultra-long, I'm just talking about the feathered '70s hair, kinda like that.

Haha I dunno...in my experience, it all depends on the girl. I have long(er) hair..hmmm..I've been told it kinda looks like George Jung's (Johnny Depp) in Blow...so that's something to compare to...ANYWAYS...yeah, I don't think all girls are like that. In fact I know they're not. :jointsmile:

i think it depends on the guy. to me, most guys look better with shorter hair, but i do like long-ish hair best, it's just that most guys look better with short hair to me. but cute guys with long-ish hair tend to catch my eye...

I used to love long hair, dated a bunch of guys with gorgeous long, dark, hair. Now I dig it short. Lil Fuzzy is nice lol.

I'm 48 and a military brat so to say. I had crew cuts all my childhood. When my old man retired I grew my hair down to my ass. In a military town the women loved seing someone with long hair. Even though my wife and i have been together since highschool I always get some looks. Military guy's don't like it much but hey I did my time. Even older I keep it braided, it stays out of my way. It must depend on where you live. Some call me an old hippie but that's before my time just barely. Long hair rulez and I don't mind seeing a buffed military chick with short hair so what's the difference.

my entire life, i've kept my hair short. but nothing got the women for me like when my hair was long. a few summers ago, couldnt get my hair cut cause the guy i wanted wasnt there, and this girl told me to keep it long. i let it grow out for 2 years.

It depends...Maynard had long hair in his A Perfect Circle music videos (shown below) but he's an exception. I prefer short hair or maybe some shagginess.

My hair went past my ears when I was younger all the way up to my middle school days. I spent 4 months in Hawai'i when I was 16, and decided I had to chop it off... I was goin there from Alaska so the mild ass Hawai'i weather was kickin my ass lol. Ive kept it short ever since. For the most part I cut my own hair every week, all the way down to the metal. Trim my goatee down super short too and shave my face at the same time. I only shave a few times during the week.. my facial stubble doesnt grow all that fast so I just let it grow a bit a few days at a time.

I havent had any complaints but I do know that lots of girls love when a guy can pull of longer hair. My hair was just way to thick and wild for me... I couldnt do shit with it. Its easy as hell now, I dont even need shampoo, I just use bar soap on my head lol and I can shake my head a couple times to dry it off :p
