Recently I've been in the market for a summer job, (like everyone else it seems) and its looking like I stand a good chance to be tested when I hopefully get a call back.

I've smoked on and off, (mostly off) for about the past 2 and a half years, but have been for the most part an everyday smoker for the last month and a half, barring the last 4 days and a few others in that time period.

I've never been tested before, so I'm not really familar with the process of detoxing, etc. but what I'm wondering is if the dilution method will help accelerate the detoxing process, not just cover it up for a short time. For example, if I were to follow the steps once or twice (or more) in the coming week or two, would it help to clear me out faster than just drinking tons of fluids?

My main reason for asking is I'd rather not get into substitution or anything shady (in part to my lack of current funds) and since I'm new to this I'd rather not take the chance of messing up the dilution method the night before.

If it helps to know, I'm tall and skinny, (6'0 and about 140-145) and although I don't exercise a lot, I'm outside frequently and its very hot in the summers here, so I'm used to sweating alot. Also, although I've smoked quite often, its mostly been in small quanities.

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any help!

Well don't apologize for the long post instead please do your research. We like to help but only those who help themselves. It is called dilution for a reason, not detox. You can only clean out with time, aerobic exercise, and a little through diet. Please read up and then ask some more specific question but I'm going out so peace!

I'm in the same exact boat as you....and I'm just gonna go with substitution...but I'm gonna smoke now again because I really don't think anyone's interested in hiring me.

Dilution before the test....but make sure to consume vitamine B and a lot of creatinine (either through a supplement or lots of red meat)

There's a sticky 'bout it.
