It wont let add attachments for some reasons, So pics are sadly hoted on Tinypic, Therfore may be down/laggy.
Ok, i wont be able to update this grow log much as i have lots of things to do, as per example: I am a "Professional Job Seeker ;)"
Anyhow, These are my babies :D About 2 Weeks old now.
I'm sorry about the quality of the photos but i was in a bit of a hurry ;)
I fed them wayyyyy to early as i am stupidly impatient.
However i changed the soil and flushed it etc...
The plants are now looking alot healthier, i just pruned most of the burnt leafs as they were pretty much doing nothing.
The seeds i used are:
TokaCola.Com | Catalogue | Dutch Passion Seeds | Voodoo (http://www.tokacola.com/cannabis-seeds/dutch-passion-cannabis-seeds/voodoo/index.html)
I dont have much money at all, and im not after an amazing huge crop. However i just want some smoke that will get me high ;) ... What with the drout and everything now would be a great time to save some fucking money and get some smoke thats not covered in silica or other nasty shit.
Any suggestions then please do tell me. I will Post pics every week or so to see the progress.
As they are growing outdoor and they have only just been planted 2/3 Weeks ago ( Start of June ), Will they flower outdoors as they will be getting alot of light i presume?
Many thanks.

looks good man,1 plant per pot so that's good,i do closet grows personally though i have stuck a few ladies outside in a huge pot, hoping for some bud around october time from them but not totally sure
are you gonna plant in the ground?or some bigger pots maybe, you'll need something,i've found some pretty good high npk chemical fertilizers at local garden centre, powder ones you mix up,i've had some good results, cost like £1.80 a tub and i'm on 4th grow using them and they aint even half empty yet
anyway good luck
think you need 50 posts to upload attachments

i use the orange buckets you get from b&q with holes drilled in the bottom, cheaper than pots, but you want about 15-20 litre pots/containers

Not that i think anyone cares, however i have taken 9 Higher Resolution Snaps of the plants, as the one's taken the other day were shoddy and i was in a hurry. If you wanna see the piccys:
Click here: Higher Res Snaps.zip (http://www.mediafire.com/?f42jxde0zi2)
The Zip files is 25meg and contains 9 Images.
It's hosted on Mediafire, so i think/hope it should have reasonable uptime.
Other than that.. Still waiting for them to grow :D

Oh yeah, One more thing as mentioned earlier:
As they are growing outdoor and they have only just been planted 2/3 Weeks ago ( Start of June ), Will they flower outdoors as they will be getting alot of light i presume?
Peace

they probably wont flower until september outdoors, when the days start getting shorter it will trigger the flowering stage,
you might have to bring them in if you want to flower them before that
but the only problem with that is they sometimes
turn hermie when you switch from real to artificial light.

Hmmm.. Sounds like a shitteh situation then eh! :P
There is a place where i am growing that i could put the flowers, Its reasonably dark compared to most of the garden and it only get about 4 hours of direct light a day, Would that do anything for the plant, or we still looking at septemeber..
Ideally i'd rather have them outside, and now that i know i could get a few Gender Benders in my crop by bringing them inside, i dont think i wanna! :P
So anyone got any suggestions, I imagine the plant needs complete darkness so i dont think putting them in a darker area would do much, or would it?
Any help would be great :D
Peace

don't think putting them in the shade will help much, but have you considered cloning them and growing them indoors?could have some bud in 3 months that way
and they probably will flower around september outdoors but will be more like end of october before they're finished growing
the_camel

I *Could* grow inside however, i really would preffer not to for a number of reasons. ;)
So if i just leave them be d'y reckon they will be ok till sept, and flower?
Seeing as tho they are in pots, i could just put them out at night and by the time i wake up, they have had like 8 hours light, and then i could just move them inside in a totally dark room?
Fuck knows, Seems my main option is just gonna be sit it out and wait till sept, but wont they be fucking huge by then?
A friend of mine planted the same time as me last year and his all flowered..
.. Positive thinking Go!Go!Go!;)
Any help would be great.
Peace

they will be huge, bringing them in and out would work but it means you have to do it every day, any forgetfull boozy weekends could f**k up the cycle
if you leave them out the flowering cycle will only begin in sept you will still have a few months to go till they are ready and by then it will be too cold so either bring them in and out or keep them in or just leave them out and see what happens.if that makes any sense!!!!!!!!!!!

06-22-2007, 05:55 PM
Well on the grounds that i am not that forgetfull and i dont have any money :P I think i will just have to keep bringing them in and out.. Which is kinda sucky...
Lets say i forgot about it for one day during flowering. Would that ruin my crop?
Anyone else got any ideas/views on this?
Peace

1 day wouldn't fuck things up,but too often and you'd be looking at the possibility of them turning hermie from stress
to control size you could always tie them down(lst)you end up with a smaller bush rather than a tall tree that way,and they can be kept pretty low using this method
the_camel
06-22-2007, 06:26 PM
Astar you are being more than helpfull :D! :D
Well i think if i did forget it, it would only be the once :D
As they are outdoors now, hould i let them veg for say a futher 4 weeks then start the 12/12 cycle?
Peace

depends what you want from them,i've found a 12 inch tall plant can triple in size after being switched to 12/12,i've also found that growing under 400w hps i can get 130 grams from a plant that was 12"tall when 12/12 was started, takes around 4 weeks under hps to get 12" but really no idea about outside, got a few outside myself so will have a better idea come november time, just bear in mind flowering time will be anything from 7-12 weeks depending on strain, usually around 8 weeks for most strains,so figure when you'd like your weed, take into account size, moving them around etc and figure when will be best for you
the_camel

Sounds like the plan for me is let em all veg to about 12-14" then start the 12/12 :D

I am thinking of starting flowering at the end of this week, do you think that is too early? The plants will then be about 6weeks old. Also i am moving them in and out every night, how much light should i let them have?
Cheers

you're here in the uk right?well whilst vegging, personally i wouldn't bring them in at all at night,i have 3 going outside at the moment and they stay outdoors at all times, and are vegging along nicely,in spite of all this rain,i'd save bringing them in for flowering
plus the fact plants growing outside aren't as sensitive to small amounts of light during their dark time, they have the moon, light polution from street lamps etc which are just hps lights,so i wonder if they spend their veg period outdoors,if they might just be more forgiving if you have any little light leaks when you do start flowering, who knows heh
the_camel
07-10-2007, 12:05 PM
Well on that note, i think i will just leave them be, I mean there vegging very nice :D
I am just impatient :P
Where the plants are growing the only light they get at night is moonlight :D
Booyeah... Just gotta wait on these babies..... *COME ON ENGLISH WEATHER*

Ok first things first, My Blood/Thc Level is low, Very low! :(
Yep thats correct, No pot!
Everything feels wrong, Thoughts are starting to making sense, Food isnt as tasty, Things are not as funny... I can feel something fucking me from the rear.. Thats it! Reality! :(
So on the grounds i have no pot, I am putting all my effort in growing these ladies :D
Please note that anything long the lines of "w03-4" Means its a photo taken on Week 3 and its the 4th photo or so on.... ( Just saying this as i know how stoned some of you are when on this site ;) )
As you can see on W05-3 something had a lovley chow down on these babies, However there is no point in scrapping them just yet, Gonna let them carry on and see how they Get along.
W05-6 Is my most healthy looking plant, and you can see my tattoo :D
W05-5 Is the second best looking plant up to now.
W05-2 AND W05-1 are just misc pictures of the plants.
As far as the weather goes around here:
--------------------------------------
19°C
Cloudy/Sunny <---- Thanks MET office, ace report there!
Wind: W at 13 km/h
Humidity: 68%
--------------------------------------
This is reasonablly good weather :D Well at least in my books :)
The weather really is alternating, we could get 2 hours of solid rain, followed by 2 hours of intese sun!
All in all they seem to be doing fine! :)
Except the odd few leaves have gone some what saggy?
Anyone know the cause of this?
I cant think of anything else to type, and im so frickin hungry!
On that note, i am dillusional due to lack of Marijuana so any spellings and shit like that may be wrong. I dont care :)
Any suggestions/comments/hate mail/love mail;)/Drug mail
Let me know!
Peace!

i'd put the saggy leaves down to the amount of rain we've had lately, though they'll get over it,mine did,i've had to grow my full grow outside because i hadn't time to tend it,and it's doing amazing even though some share pots with fast growing heavy feeders, some are way over 2 foot tall and still in veg,it ace
i've also found it hard to over nute in all this rain
btw your plants look great man
