Medical Marijuana is pretty much a scam excuse to smoke and legalize pot

In myself having no other alternative than to use marijuana to alleviate my back pain, this bastard going all over this obviously pro pot website spreading misinformation about medical marijuana offends me. I don't know that this is actually against the rules, but this guy has done this over and over and over again, and it offends me and this is the only time that I've refrained from flaming him, just because I've previously received an infraction for it.

I just think this guy does not belong here to be honest with you.

...just as he has every right to state his opinions. to tell you the truth, i find your whining about being offended highly offensive, so maybe someone should do something about it. there is plenty of room here for conflicting opinions and if you can't stand the heat maybe you should get out of the kitchen. we have enough necessary censorship here without kicking out those who might offend folks with such delicate sensibilities as yours.

I can understand where your coming from but really.......some of this stuff is older than 6 months. EVERYBODY has the right to their own opinion in here just as long as the present it in a respectable manner.

He's spreading misinformation about the obvious benefits of marijuana...and this isn't up to six months old..and that's not the point, it's that he's obviously against medical marijuana/hemp...basically WITH it being illegal...whatever dude..

Maybe if you understood the fact that my government wages a war on me and thousands upons thousands of others just like myself telling us that what makes our days go by with ease rather than with pain doesn't work you would realize that I have every right to be offended, and someone on a website called cannabis.com should not say marijuana doesn't help people.

and the fact that only 7 people in this country legally receive marijuana without fear of arrest and prosecution, and I'm proud to offend you, and I hope that this offends you more if this falls into the category of me whining.

He's got the right to his opinion on whatever the issue just as long as it's presented in a respectable manner! I actually find it more of a personal attack the way your going about calling him out in the feedback forum than his comments in them threads.

I'm personally FOR med. m.j. and actually for complete legalization of all recreational drugs, my body/mind, my choice, but I won't deny someone else of there opinion.

When threads like this appear and someone puts it up for debate like this we count on med. m.j. users such as yourself to explain in detail how it helps. No better way to discredit these opinions than people with first hand knowledge instead of assumptions.

he's not misinformed though, I've regularly posted comments and actual information, however just as my legislators do, he ignores it and says it doesn't work. okay, well this thread can be deleted if it's a personal attack and is going to get me banned or something, I just thought that others might have had a problem with it....I guess not though

My own feelings are that this WILL NOT get you banned!!! Your passionate about the issue and I can respect that. Just please, in the future, try to bring this type of topic up without singling out a member. I feel you did that VERY well in the lounge with your poll.:thumbsup:

Markass, I agree with you that people who come on here and spread misinformation about MJ gets annoying, but on the other hand, it is a public board and like others said, he has a right to his opinion...even if it's a stupid one. ;)

Think about it this way. This is a message board open to anyone to post upon, so...maybe those who give a damn will take what is said here with a grain of salt. I'd be much more upset about the Anti-MJ advertisments & campaigns that some unnamed government sponsors (using unlimited taxpayers' monies) and spewing inaccurate information accross the country in a format that will make uneducated onlookers think it is credible because of the source.

I think P4B had it exactly right here...it is up to US, those who know better...to get on here and speak out to denounce the inaccurate or mis- information. We have more information, facts and proof to back up our arguement against any unfounded claim. That's why people won't get up and debate you. Just put up credible links to your claims and let the people reading decide who to believe.
