I've been vaporizing now for a month and a half, but I still have quite a bit of irritation in my lungs when I use. I was using my bong before that, and while the tar wasn't great, it seemed to be easier on the lungs (now I cant smoke at all because my lungs are too sensitive)

Anyone have the same issues? I've googled high and low, and I only see that vaporizing HELPS asthmatics.

I'm in a situation now where using is vital to my MENTAL health, so any info is appreciated!

Vaporizing certainly ought to be easier on your lungs than smoking it, at least that's what I've always read. But I should think people with very sensitive lungs might still experience some trouble with vapors. And I should think it might depend on the strain of cannabis, too.

Are you by any chance being exposed to other irritants that could be making your pulmonary situation more unpleasant? Pollution? Animal dander? Cleaners or chemicals?

Have you tried edible cannabis to completely get around the pulmonary situation?

Hey there da jungalist

I myself am an asthmatic and yes it really sucks. I own a volcano vaporizer and at times I tend to still cough from using it but its not as bad as smoking a joint or taking bong hits. My advice for you and for all users that has asthma is to not smoke period. No joints, blunts, bongs etc.

What type of vaporizer do you own anyways?

:\ yeah, I've been living in a basement with an unfinsihed concrete floor (dust!) with a wool carpet overtop (allergic to wool) I have 2 windows that DONT OPEN, and I have a doggie.

oh, and our room has no door, just a curtain, and right outside our room is the laundry room where bleach and other irritant chemicals are stored.

Not to mention I live in Toronto (aka Smog city) and I have pollen allergies

I know I know..Im moving in Nov!

I just dont recall having this much trouble with the bong. :(

I also have the Volcano.
I use it exclusively now. But as you can see from my reply above, there are other huge factors involved.

Do you find that you are inhaling small particles now and then?

I think Im just going to have to make a huge batch of brownies and freeze them until Im out of this situation.

Thanks for the input though! :)

hmmm...

not really. I havent used it in awhile. The problem I find with making food with cannabis is that you need to use sooooo much cannabis!!! It can be quite expensive. My advice is to get rid of that bong. How often do you smoke? Perhaps that could be a factor a well
