So a while back i am smoking with some friends and i needed to clear out the bowl of my bong, scraped it up and got a fat resin ball. So, we are all debating about how to make the best use of the resin ball and how to smoke it. Someone throws out probably the worst idea ever, lets heat up some knifes stick it between and basically freebase the smoke coming off. Granted i was high as shit going into it, what the hell were we thinking. anyways just thought i would share that story.

Hot kniving is just a way of vaporizing your weed basically. But I don't smoke resin. It's just too thick and sticky and it smells like shit. Tastes like shit too. I tried to smoke a bowl of it once and almost couldn't even clean my bowl out lol. First and last time I did that.

actually this has come up too, a friend introduced it as his ghetto vaporizer, held it over a candle and hollowed out the bulb, put a pen tube into it sealed with duct tape, and there it was, i don't yse the knifes anymore i just rather throw it into a bowl and chief on the resin that way, but i try to stay away from resin period unless i am desperate.

I really didnt realize that so many people used the knifes, it just seemed like way more work then it was worth, and it felt sketchy.

Eww, I don't see how you guys can smoke resin.

The stem of my bong had sooo much resin literally dripping from it, and there wasn't a chance in hell I was going to smoke that. It was gross.

I do agree that smokeing resin is fuckin disgusting but if I got no weed and i'm broke, I got no problem with it.

resin is fine, it just needs to be water filtered. I admit, when Im rolling in dope I dont usually smoke resin, but a nice sized ball will get you ripped, just water filter to keep the shit out your lungs.
