That soaking wet chick who got caught in the rainsends a big THANKS for being so nice!
And she is super super happy to have finally found a source for dip-n-grow in Massachusetts.
She hopes she didn't leave too much of a puddle!
:D

have you ever been to Liquid Sun in Holyoke? It looks like nothing on the outside but it's a Father/Son run place, it's great!

Beats worms way prices by a fucking mile.

Yeah I know Liquid Sun QUITE well. Hi fellas!!!
The owner repairs ballasts too- a helpful little FYI in case you ever need it.
The Putney VT location is more spacious and has actual plant displays, but both are GREAT shops and the staff (all 3 of them lol) know their shit.
Problem is, no one carries dip-n-grow any more!!!

Is there a place like that closer to the Lynn/Salem area? That's an aweful long way to travel for getting the things I want but it seems like the only place around Boston that carries the things I need.

Stinky where do you get that Agway soil? I looked online at a few local shops here and none seem to have it unless it's just not listed online. I just thought I'd scope out the places first before I haul me and my two kids over there.

Thanks!

Nah I'm a Swampscott girl. I lived in Lynn for about three years though on Lynnshore Drive kind of near the Nahant rotary. It was my first appt after moving out of my parents house. Then I lived in Beverly for about 15 years and now I'm right back where I started in Swampscott.

Ahhh...the smell of King's Beach at low tide. I haven't been there in a while , does it still have that smell?

hahaha yeah and it's travelling towards swampscott on the bad days!!!!

They've hired mit students at one point to try to figure out if it's algae or if it's the sewerage coming from Lincoln House Point in Swampscott. My money is on sewerage.

There were only a handful of days where i could turn the a/c off and open up the windows when I lived on Lynnshore. I didn't care though since it was my first place I could call my own, you know?

Now I live about a five minute walk from the ocean but on the really bad days I can still smell it! Luckily that's only once or twice per summer on the Swampscott side.

lol @ hiring fancy MIT students for that one...
I may be a loser who went to a PUBLIC university, but I can tell ya that sewerage, combined with runoff from lawns that have been fertilized, makes for a MEAN alage bloom, and as it cycles between bloom and dieoff, depending upon rainfall and temperature (=oxygenation in the water), you get the dead algae rotting and man will it ever stink.
