I stopped at a gas station after work and as I'm walking to the door this old lady in the car next to me honks at me. I was a little annoyed considering she could have just rolled the window down... but I ignored it. Turns out she was a little lost and was trying to get to the next town over. I gave her directions which consisted of this.

1. Keep going down this road in that direction.

2. When you get to the interstate on-ramp you want to take a left, just follow the southbound signs.

3. Your exit will be Hwy **. Follow the signs that have that tell you where to go for x town. It was one more turn and she would be there...

She looked confused.

I told her to follow me considering I had to go in the same direction, only at ** exit I would be heading to ** town and all she need do is make a left where I make a right.

She says she will follow.

I pull out the lot. Wat 30 seconds on the street for her to pull out the lot. I'm doing 40 in a 45mph zone and she is still way behind.

I put my blinker on to merge into the left lane. She does not.

I slow down even more. I turn left on to the southbound interstate. Where does she go? Fucking Northbound.

WTF?

I tried, and I missed out on the Big Macs I was craving... Figured it would be rude to detour to a Mc Donalds...

Yeah man you tried, and that was very nice of you. Even though she didn't follow correctly, you still did a good thing.

LOL, I honestly think she forgot what car she was supposed to be following. I feel bad for her... Yet at the same time, she is the kind of old driver I despise. In all honesty her license should probably be revoked. When someone is lost, they tend to drive more erratically. I got the impression she is lost a lot. ;)
