If you search this forum you'll find some excellent discussions on led lights.

I researched the LED setups a bit, as I was curious about the feasibility of a 12-volt capable, low current draw situation ... all I have found so far, is that there are LED 'grow' setups out there, that will work, but at this time, they are still horribly expensive, per lumen ... like most technological advances, prices are likely to come down as time passes, but they're way out of my price range at this time :smokin:

LED will probably be the hot setup in the future, once the prices get more affordable ... low current draw, heat problems will be a thing of the past ... now, if I can just win that damned Lotto :D

It's not real important where you posted. I suggested you do a search here because there are a couple threads that get into a real technical but understandable discussion of led's - and it's not the kinda stuff that you are likely to see people type twice.
I was trying to point you in the right direction, not be critical.
