i got a ? about my plants

theyre like almost 2 feet tall but theres like a bud lookin thing forming at the top, but ive never seen this when the plant is so young, its the size of like a big pebble, is it a bud forming already or what?

Are you sure it just isn't new leaf growth? Like Chowder said pic's would help, clear ones too :)

How old is the plant? It might be preflowering due to it's age, and from you've described if it is it's probably a male plant.
