Lately I have gotten this thing where when I am high, my left (thats right, its always the left one, too) testicle really hurts. At first I just thought it was myself making it up and causing paranoia, but...

I have blazed several times and I always am with friends and in a cool surrounding, I never even think of it! And then the pain just hits me.

It feels like I got hit or something, and it bugs for a majority of the high. It has only happened since I have been using a certain strain, but it hasn't happened since the first time I have used it. (About the last 3 or 4 times)

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this, or what to do?

Thanks for being understanding and for the help.

Maybe you've got a small hernia or something along those lines.

Like the_yeag said above, it could happen after you cough hard, which could be related to the reason why the doctor checks you up at the end of the physical when he/she grabs your balls and makes you cough. There could be some kind of connection there that applies to you. When's the last time you got a physical.

Just thinking outloud...

Is your left testicle sensitive, to some degree or another, without the weed? Does it sometimes hurt by itself? You could have torsion in it, and the vascodilation causing an increased bloodflow to it intensifies the pain, or increases the inflammation just enough to hit the right nerves.

Try gently icing you testicle from behind, the side, and on top. You may want to try this before smoking to see if it alleviates the effects, and thus come closer to an accurate diagnosis.

Well thank you for all the replies. I smoke everyday and this just started happening, so no I do not really ever cough, that cant be the reason. As for a physical i got one somewhat recently (under a year, like 8 or 9 months ago) And I checked out fine. I will try smoking a different strain and see if that helps, any other ideas?

Get any groin or testicle pain evaluated by a doctor!
Testicular cancer is most prevalent in young men- 18-40, I believe.
My husband had to have one testicle removed last year because he was diagnosed with the cancer. He's been cancer-free since, and hopefully forever.
The symptoms were very mild- a recurring backache that he attributed to physical activity, and one testicle was slightly larger than the other.
If caught in the early stages, it is easily contained. If not, it kills.

A pain in the testicle may not be cancer, but wouldn't you rather be sure? If my husband hadn't been required to have a complete checkup for the adoption process we are going through, he would probably not have bothered to go for another year or more. That could have been a death sentence.

All the guys reading this, please take care of yourselves!

well smoking pot does decrease your testosteron production, so that could be the cause, i know i got it every now and then, but it was from my pants sucking up around it, or just how i was sitting. but every now and then there would be times when it wasnt either of those, because i was in boxers and sprawled out on my couch smokin.. i kind of thought it might be because its stopping the production of that... but who knows.. just play with them a little and adjust them, get a girl to do it for you, and you will forget all about it hurting.
