Alright, I figured that there are probably a lot of people here with unique views on Spirituality and I was hoping maybe you guys would be willing to share your views. Here's mine.

Everytime I go up to the Northern Coast in Cali, I get a deep overwhelming sensation that runs through my body and really relaxes me and allows me to open my mind and process my thoughts. The bible says that we were created by an omniscient being, and the theory of evolution says we originated from out of the ocean. The thought that always plays in my mind is this: What if the Ocean and God are one and the same? That would tie both theories together and probably help a lot of people answer some questions they've been needing answers to. Now I've had a lot of people tell me I'm pretty much crazy for thinking this, but I don't really feel that it's too far-fetched of and idea. I think that if everyone looked at things with a more open mind maybe we can agree that before dedicating yourself to the confines of another man's ideals you should question everything you've been conditioned to accept and see what life tells you about what to believe.

So that's my basic idea, what are your thoughts?? Anything goes. And please people, no flaming. Let's not judge, and maybe try and learn something from everyone's point of view.

I agree with a lot of what you said.

One pretty unique view I have is that I don't think death exists. Consciousness, the idea of an entity, is just too amazing to be taken out by a trivial thing like a ruptured heart or lack of oxygen. Rather, the body is what traps the mind, if you follow me. The mind would be totally free except we have bodies, which force us to only hear things with ears, see things with eyes, etc. In what people call "death", perhaps it is only when the body can no longer incorporate the mind, and the mind is free to do whatever it wants and see/hear/feel things, with them actually being there irrelevant. For the idea of "reality" cannot really be proven, either.

Yeah, whenever I get really high I start going on about this stuff and people call me nuts.

That's a pretty awesome theory if you ask me; I believe I am following what you've said. Basically we are finally truly living once we are no longer confined to a physical being? That really is a quite liberating idea and I like it.

I see everything as infinite energy. "God" is the superconsciousness of the being that is life.

Awesome thread, I hope to read some unique answers.

This isn't a belief of mine, merely something I thought about, but imagine that the physical world is a test of emotion, and once you "pass the test" you are exposed to an insane amount of different emotions that we have no definition for, and no way to comprehend in a physical realm. Kinda neat I think :P

I've thought about that too, maybe God is just the energy that drives us all, or just something inside us. I really thought about a lot of stuff like that coming up to he point where I am now.

Hey hardcore newbie-
That would be pretty heavy I think, definitely would have to be ready for it (i.e. "pass the test"), cause at the moment the emotions I already have can be pretty powerful. It's kind of like the thought that we only use 10% of our brains or whatever it is. Makes me think that I must be missing something, but then I think that there's so much that I don't know, and one day whenever the time comes I will have the answers I need.
