Thanks to a whole lot of NORML's efforts, 12 states have decriminalized (at least to a certain extent) the use of marijuana...not to mention the 11 or 12 that allow medical usage of marijuana. Most of it has been happening more recenlty than not...it's like a chain reaction.

We're still FAR from our goal, but hey progress is showing :)

That's exactly the attitude a lot of abolitionists had in the 1850s, and women's suffragists a half century later, and proponents of desegregation a half century after that. When you look at the big picture, humanity has been progressing in matters of human rights and human liberty, no matter how much conservatives and reactionaries try to get in the way. There's no way to stop it. Eventually, the truth comes out. :hippy:
