Is it possible?
Maybe feeding it marijuana would work

Why would you want to?
Fish brains are very simplistic and may not apreciate THC's suttle tweaks.

Yes, Phish and friends can get high.
Probably if you blow co2 through their air hose, you might get them high, or kill them. I use to raise Oscars, BIG fish. Maybe feed them shake with their flakes and video tape and see if you notice a difference.
Peace bra.

actually I dont think it can be done. They dont have an endo-cannabinoid system for the THC to activate. I think only mammals have one.

give it a try and let us know.. Jk.
Fish and molluscks cannot get high. Why bother wasting it when it's not going to make ANY differnce.

On the contrary, a friend of mine used to use her fishtank as a grav, and her fish would feed off of the oil in the water. They were the chillest fish, if you came up to the tank, they would go to the surface and let you pet them. They were completely healthy too.

For an organism to get high, it has to have cannbinoid receptors. And there are some species of fish that have indeeed been found to have cannabinoid receptors, just as some other invertebrate non-mammalians have been found to have CB1 or 2 receptors.
I just read that puffer fish (fugu) have been identified to have a CB2 gene, which means they might enjoy cannabis--or at least feel its effects. Those fugu are the famous potentially deadly blowfish that are considered a sushi delicacy but only if sushi chefs have had years of training on how to properly remove the poisonous organs that could literally kill you many times over if you ate the wrong parts.
So I'd be wary of trying to get a puffer fish high--or of getting high together with one. You could possibly get so baked you'd get a bad case of the munchies. Then, what if your pal the stoned puffer fish was the only thing to eat in the house?
Bad news. Real bad news.

one time we put some blue gill in a water bottle and put a bunch of tobacco in it would not stop eating it. this is irrelevant though
