The same people who are trying to sell you the aerogarden are trying to sell you a pack of tomatoe seeds for $20 + $10 shipping. $30 for tomatoe seeds should tell you something about the aerogarden and those who sell them.

But it's up to you to determine what that something might be.

For the price of the aerogarden you could buy a 150watt hps light, a timer and a couple pots. You'd be a lot better off with the latter.
