Have been growing for many years, never cum across this one b4..

Strain, White widdow, grown from clone.
method, re circulating drip feed waterfarm.
lights, 600w sodium.
Nutes, general hydroponics Flora series.

Veg stage of growth was very good, plants developed well, short stocky plants, with thick stems and large fan leaves. Were grown to about 12 inches then put into flower. After 5/6 weeks, when thick buds should be observed, the buds are barely there. There IS considerable Trichome development, and the plants ARE very sticky, but it is all leaf material, and stalk. Have used a bud boost product since day 21. Plants still look very green and healthy, but no bud development.
I did suspect temperature to be the culprit, being grown in a garden shed, british weather as it is. Temps have been averaging 15/25c constant, having light on at night to compensate for cooler temps.
Am hoping buds will thicken now warmer weather is here.

Any suggestions ?

VoLaK.

There are a few things that typically cause buds to stay leafy or sparse:

-Light leaks making the plant continue some amount of vegetative growth, or check that your timer is really giving 12 hours of perfect darkness (some analog timers are not all that accurate, lol)

-Too much nitrogen in the fertilizer... can you try dropping the N level even LOWER? This may mean looking for a new fert.

-Strain.. I have NO experince wiht White Widow so I don't know what the buds are supposed to look like

-Heat stress... This can certainly cause a lack of bud density

-Not enough carbon... look into some C supplement...If your ventilation sucks, CO2 gas and read up on the sealed room techniques.
If your ventilation is already adequate, even a liquid carb loader and synthesiser might help quite a bit.

Good luck on that.
