Why is my vaporiser lame?

My lungs are knackered and so I thought ok, will buy a vaporiser. No way does it do the same job as my pipe. What's that about? Instructions said to do the thing and discard any left overs as there would be no active ingredient, so I put this to the test. I smoked the the left overs in my pipe and got stoned. I used a blue meanie, is it the brand or are they just not what they are cracked up to be? DOH, it cost me £45 English pounds, dunno what that is in dollars...:(

I bought a vape and ended up regretting it. It's all about preference. In my opinion, i'd sell it lol. It's up to you man. I find the high by smoking a lot better.

We paid about $450 for it. I guess you get what you pay for.
You don't get high on cheap weed, why should a cheap vaporizer be any different?

Vapes are shit - unless you spend silly amounts of money on one. For 45 your not going to get much at all - they can go up to £300.

I dont like them anyway, not my thing.

For what they are they're over priced, not sociable, and to me, not very fun at all.

I can see why someone would use one for medicinal reasons - but since i quit the cigs my lungs have been getting better and better, and i smoke more than most people. Infact, i smoke more in a day than most people do in a week, so if anyone should have lungs that are shot to shit it's me.

My experience with vaporizers, even cheap ones, is the exact opposite. I have talked to so many vaporizer users who have had the same experiences I have that I can't help but think you're doing something wrong.

I used to love pipes and joints... but now all I use is the vaporizer (the cheap "ubie" or the vaporstar). Vapor is awesome! No cough at all anymore. Plus I can smoke like 3 times less for the same effect too. I put an extension pipe on my shorter vaporizer so it isn't so hot on my lungs and mouth... and it is like breathing fresh pot flowers... I kid you not. And I get high as a kite from it... again, much higher then from smoking the same amount.

Whoever told you that the cannabis has no more active incredient after you vaporize it is full of huey. You can still cook it or burn it and get high. I just toss mine out though. I get more high vaporizing then smoking, so even with throwing out some "semi-smokable" weed at the end of my session I'm still ahead of the game in the long run. And my lungs are back into good shape. I used to have a nagging smokers cough. Now it is gone completely. Its like I'm a new person.

What you may need to realize is that the cheap vaporizers have a learning curve. You have to grind the buds, first of all. And you have to learn how fast to inhale you're particular vaporizer and how 'toasted' to get the buds without burning them, etc. That is the one thing that makes the volcano nice.... it does all that for you and gives you the perfect vapor every time.

I would recommend you do one of two things. Spend $50 and buy a vaporstar with the glass pipe extension and give yourself two weeks to learn how to do it. Or buy a volcano. There is no reason to smoke any more if all you're looking to do is get high. If you like the "coolness" of smoking or the convenience of a joint, then that's the only reason I can see to continue smoking anything. If you buy the vaporstar, watch their website video to learn how to do it (it makes a slight whistling sound when you inhale at the right speed).

I paid $200 canadian for my "vapor Daddy" vaporizer and It is the best money I ever spent. I had lung problems my whole life and when I smoked a lot I would get all kinds of problems. Now with a vaporizer I get Higher, the weed lasts a lot longer and no lung troubles at all!
One thing I would suggest is check your temperature. It sounds to me like you aren't getting hot enough.

Yer vapes are cool i have a home made one which works really well and ive tryed a couple of 'real vapes' and they get you uber high. the high is different however maby not as nice but it is really good at conserveing weed.

Really, it can run off a car battery? How does that work, can you plug it into the cig lighter thing or hook it up straight to the battery? Even if I could afford a Volcano, I would still get the Herbalaire. I've read some reviews where they compared them, and while you can put Volcano leftovers in an Herbalaire and get some more vapor out of it, there's nothing left in the Herbalaire leftovers for the Volcano to get. The Volcano is supposed to be easier to use, but I'd prefer the cheaper and more efficient option.
