Using currency conversion on the internets (1 USD = 1,927.5 colombian pesos) and since where I live I can get 3 joints for 1000 pesos, it means that I get 1 joint for USD 0.1729354 ≈ 0.2 which is 2 cents!! :stoned:

Please tell your amigos to send some over here. I haven't had any Columbian in decades. I miss those golds and reds! It used to be $400 - $500 a lb. An oz. of the best went for about 50- 60 dollars. Today, if it were available, it would probably sell here for at least $300 an oz.

Acapulco IS in Mexico, and they used to have some damn good other types, like Michocan, as well. Nixon and then Carter ruined it by, among other things, spraying the stuff with paraquat, a dangerous weed-killer, from airplanes.

Anyway, those days of Columbian, Mexican, Panamanian, Jamaican, Thai, etc. are long over for us here, but it was great while it lasted.

Thats so cool, colombia is my next destination to reside in. In central america you can get a joint for 10 lempiras...meaning a whopping .53 cents... 1 pound of the good herb is 1200 Lempiras=$63.75... this is for Honduran tree.

They probably pay the U.S. equivalent of ten to twenty dollars an ounce, which sounds real cheap but it depends on the economy.
