I don't know what's up with me lately. For the past few weeks, (mostly when I'm high), I go to stand up and walk around and get a horrible sick feeling, it's kind of like whitey-ing (smoking yourself sick basically) BUT I'm definitly not smoking nearly enough weed to be sick..and it also happens occasionally when I'm sober. it's just a sick feeling. I get nauseas and light headed and I find it hard to stand and function. My face and lips get really pale and my lips kinda get tinted purple (I only know this because my friend pointed it out to me today) It goes away after sitting down and drinking something or eating. Sooo, anyone know..sup with me? lol Sorry it's not directly cannabis related, but sorta is..
(uhh and I hope this made sense, as I'm a lil bit stoned.)

Go get checked out....my brother had the same thing going and it was early stages of diabetes. I'm no doctor but just passing along something that I witnessed. Better safe than sorry.....see a doc!
Have a good one!

Haha, same here. To hell with drama. I hope you feel better as well. I think this form of whitey is a stress reaction. When mine occurred, I was working out. I kept pushing it because I was so angry. In the middle of it, I felt like I wanted to faint, collapse, felt so nauseous. I had to sit a while and rest. It went away afte 5 minutes, but I'm still feelin' kinda, eh.

BFA, is there any chance you could be pregnant? Also, have you by any chance ever been diagnosed with a heart murmur, leaky heart valve, or arrhythmia? You may simply be having attacks of what's called orthostatic hypotension, which is low blood pressure when you stand up. Pot and a numbef of other meds can contribute to that. The fact that you're pale and that your lips get cyanotic (that bluish purple color) makes me think it's circulatory. And, like P4B said, you also need to get your blood sugar tested. Especially if you're also thirsty and having more frequent need to urinate.
Time for a good thorough physical! And tell the doc the truth about what you've been smoking and any other unprescribed pharmaceuticals you've been taking. Good luck!

Thanks birdie, I'll set up a doctors appt. soon, thanks for the advice yall:)
I HOPE I'm not pregnant, but there could be a chance. Most likely am not though, only due to the fact that these have been happening before my last period too.

hmmmm.....
So can anyone get diabetes, despite an active lifestyle?
I'm definitely going to the doctors.

Yeah, anyone can get it. Type I diabetes, which is incorrectly called juvenile diabetes, can come on at any age even though it mostly turns up in children and young adults. It's an auto-immune disease in which the body attacks the cells in the pancreas that produce insulin.
Type II diabetes can happen to anyone, but it tends to happen much more frequently to people who are obese and certain ethnic groups. Apple-shaped people get type II diabetes at much higher rates than pear-shaped ones. In type II diabetes, either the body doesn't produce enough insulin or the cells that use the insulin don't use it properly. Because of the obesity epidemic in this country, more and more people are being diagnosed with type II diabetes at younger and younger ages. This is a very bad thing.

THCBongman, as fit and slender as you are, it's highly unlikely you have either type of diabetes, but you might as well have your blood glucose tested, especially if you have any symptoms. You're mighty sweet, so you never know! LOL!

there are a lot of things that can be causing your problem. i would worry that your blood pressure is real low because you're describing something called orthostasis. you might also have a problem with one of your heart valves. or maybe you have lung disease and the weed is making it a little tougher for oxygen to get to your brain and extremities when you're lit. there's an immense list of medical problems that can cause what you're having.
set up an appointment with a doc, and try switching to a vaporizer or cook your thc in the interim (i know, easier said than done). you can get your sugar checked pretty easily. they also will probably want to do a test called 'orthostatics' where they check your blood pressure lying down, sitting, and standing, to make sure your heart and blood vessels are responding normal to the stresses of gravity.
just see a doc. this is a great forum but not one for getting serious medical stuff evaluated.
