Resin gets you high?

So i was reading the last issue of Hightimes and there is a doctor that says that smoking resin doesn't actually get you high, it's the holding your breath that does it..Do you think this is true? Because me personally I've got fucked up on resin before :P

I know for a fact I have gotten high off resin. It was no 2 minuet oxygen deprivation high, I was blazed....slightly.

It gets you high. Unless oxygen dep lasts for over half an hour and gives you a case of the munchies. On second thought, I'm going to start holding my breath right now. Krystals, here I come!

i used to get desperate all the time and smoke resin and it definetly got me high i would have to disagree with the doctor

Resin does get you high, some of the THC is still encrusted in those layers of resin and you can smoke it. Hell, I've gotten high off of the resin produced from smoking resin... I wouldn't recommend it though.

this one time i had a huge ball of resin in my pipe, then i packed weed all in around it to fill the bowl, then I drove to school and smoked it all, walked in that place like a fucking zombie...damn those were some good times.

I have an article about this I will have to find and post but it suggests (and it has solid info) that most of what is in resin is tar and it is potent carcinogen filled tar. However, it needs to have just a little bit of THC in it to get you high. So just be aware that if you get a marble sized ball of resin/tar it is mainly tar.

I think the best way to use this stuff is not to wait til you are out but do several smaller cleanings while you are running low and mix it/rub it onto some bud so your lungs don't hate you for it.

You do get high from resin. I smoke it whenever I can. Gets me pretty high off a couple hits.

I think smoking "resonated" roaches is better than smoking resin by far. Resin tastes disgusting and for me is a last ditch high. But if I smoke a joint I like to keep the roach and take the weed out of it because its still weed but has resin on it from the hits you took through the first joint. Get enough of this "resonated" shit and you'll be fucked up.
