Is a 100watt lite bulb ok for a plant. please tell me as i need to now b4 i start the planting. If not wat will i need.

A 100watt light will not work unless its an HPS light or fluorescent

incadescents do not work for growing, wrong spectrum. Use a floro if it is a small grow, but idealy get an HID, hps or mh, bulb.

I don't mean to discourage you at all!!! BUT, It will make your grow soooooo much more enjoyable if you can get a 400+watt HPS.. With 400+watts you can see dramtic daily changes in your plant, which makes growing very rewardable and pleasing.

A light and a fan...and a book on HOW and your set : ) good luck

Cheers people for your input i will be geting a 200watt florecent light as i dont want to grow to fast cause then ill be board once it has been harvested. (no i wont ill be stoned) but cheeres any way. GUYS AND GALS enjoy smoking

Go to wal mart and buy a 48" flourescent tube fixture and 2 40 watt cool white bulbs. Then proceed to the sporting goods department and buy a emergency space blanket. If you put the lamp under a sawhorse and then drape the blanket over the sawhorse You will be glad you did. It doesnt sound like you are in America so I dont know if you have wal marts. I have seen alot of plants touch the flourescent bulbs and never burn.
