new to cloning

ok so i dont really understand how to clone can i just top a plant dip it in clonex put it in the soil and hope it takes? should i take from somewhere else other than the top?

Did you read the cloning 101 FAQ?

I suggest you use a product called Anti-Wilt this will help keep moisture in the plant until it gets a chance to root on its own.
