Bare with me on this one. Okay so I am in need of some
help with my crop because at this point I am totally
clueless. I live in Central Ca. I started my crop of
WW in a greenhouse towards the end of Jan.(daylight is
about 10 hours or more that time of year). So I had 5
girls all started at the same time in miracle grow
soil and used Fox Farm Big Grow and Super thrive in 15g pots. One
plant which seemed to start off very slowly compared
to the others is growing as expected and is 4-5 feet
tall now . But in March weird stuff started to happen
to the rest of the plants. One plant grew to at most
one foot before it started to flower. The last three
made it to 3 feet before they started to flower. So
there I was at the end of April with these great
looking buds ready to harvest. But it seemed wrong to
just cut them down so soon so I basically cut off all
the buds and cut down the plants to about half their
size it was something of an experiment so here comes
my problem. The three plants took off on a grow spurt
they have grown a lot of these full branches (height growth is
unchanged but each branch is over a footlong) but they don't look normal. The leaves are all small about a quarter of the size of normal and
they all have these funky bud bits and hairs growing
the whole length of the branches. I have no idea what
to do with them at this point when do I harvest them?
Will the product be weak and junky and just not worth
the effort? Does anyone have any sugestions?

Thanks S

Basically what you have done is something I too have done, on purpose, only I did it indoors.
The Marijuana plant has a life cycle of less than a year. It grows (veg), It produces buds (flower), then it dies, and all it can hope for is that it's genetics have been passed on for another generation.
But It didnt die, the environmental conditions were too good to kill it, so it figures, fuck it! May as well try to get more (if any) seeds out there so my species can thrive, so it goes back into a vegative state (if lighting and nutrients allow) then back into flower.
Now this has always tripped me out because on a plants second time through after the buds have been plucked off,the leaves and branches do just as you say, they look very odd?
All I can figure is that this could be a mutation caused by the plant going against it's natural life cycle, so I personally wouldnt use em' to produce seed stock (just to be safe), but they are definately worth keeping alive, and re-flowering.
And yes I have noticed a small drop in potency the couple of times that I re-veged plants, but it was still worth it.

Same thing happened to me and I'm starting to hear of other patients in Calif. having similar problems. Ever heard of Agent Green, check this out....

Thanks. They look pretty good despite their oddball appearance and it looks like its going to give me a a great yield.
