"Spelling Bee Champ. He`s home-schooled? Really? He seems so normal and well socialized." that is the best part of the whole video, the caption beneath it. Haha couldn't be more true...or sarcastic ...for those who didn't get it.

that poor kid. I watched the last hour of the spelling bee (don't ask) and bless his heart, that little guy was painfully awkward. I learned that he really doesn't even like the spelling bees, his heart lies with math (he likes how the #'s all go together) and music (before he could write music the regular way he made up his own way where he assigned numbers to notes)...and so on and so forth.

Notes to numbers actually isn't uncommon, even after learning proper notation, and actually have a benefit of being able to be played in any key.

Can't blame the kid for talking like that tho, no kid being "interview" is very articulate, they just make the shortest answers possible, except Dakota Fanning hahahah

dude she's like 8 and like Hardcore newbie said, music is simply numbers and scales and conversions just the same as math. Only difference is with music you can know very little math or a lot it doesn't matter. Then again, those that focus too much on the numbers and math side of it aren't cut out for music. There's a fine line between "figuring it all out" and letting your musical ear take you where it will.

Dude. My name is Evan. Dude. I won all the spelling bees in my elementary school. Trippy.
I got 11th out of ~70 kids in the state bee. Got out on "punctilio". Damn you punctilio, whatever the hell you are.
