Ok, well last night I had another lucid dream ...but it was kind of different than others

It seems everytime I have a lucid dream now...Im stuck in some weird mindstate thats not even close to my mindstate in real life...

Like....when I knew I was dreaming I didn't do anything...I couldnt think of anything to try..I didnt even TRY to think of anything to try but I KNEW I was dreaming....I just kinda walked around

SO I mean....Is it common to have these types of lucid dreams?

Maybe because Im just now starting to lucid dream more and I dont have a lot of control?

Because I have had dreams where Im fully aware Im dreaming, and I experiment and shit...

Happened to me before. I still remember my dream I had a couple of hours ago. I was in the back of class , and for some reason I was talking to a friend about how Elvis is still alive, and I saw him in a crackhouse smoking crack singing "you aint nothing but a crack pipe" .. in his normal voice..then i pretended i was holding a crackpipe and lighting it up and taking a hit then i made my voice all harsh and shit and said "u aint nothin but a craaaaack pipe" in that voice.

And then I woke up. lol my dreams been trips lately.

Taking control of your dreams is not as simple as figuring out you're in a dream. Sometimes it's nice to not take control and just walk around to see what kinds of crazy random shit your brain comes up with.

I'm not sure what happened in your dream since I don't know what was going on in your head at the time, but perhaps you were overwhelmed by the surprise of finding yourself in an imaginary simulation of reality. I've had lots of lucid dreams and it still surprises me very much when I come to that unusual realization. It can be a lot to take in, so much that sometimes you don't even know what to make of the situation.

My suggestion would be to think of some things you would like to try in your next lucid dream, and keep reminding yourself what they are. Next time you have one, hopefully you will remember your list and start experimenting. Some things I like to do are flying (of course), running at 200 miles an hour, having crazy sex with lots of random women, making things explode, going on GTA-style rampages, and using my super kung fu powers to fight people like in the Matrix.
