when you add things like humic and fulvic acid, sensizym, b52, silicone, voodoo juice and pirannah. the last 2 are root enchancers. does this increase your ppm and if so should they be taken in to account or first get your nutes to say 1000ppm then add all these additives which will increase your tds but not actually of increased your nuterient strenth. if i followed the advanced nutrient programme my tds meter would show higher ppm than wat the nutrient programme actually says it will be. one more thing just going to try 3 part fert for the first time. is it micro then grow then bloom in this order to your tank. also
on the programme it says add your fert at a ratio of 1 1 1. is there a better way than this like in vedge have it at micro2 grow2 bloom1, and again in bloom have the bloom at 2 micro 2 and grow 1. allways trying to find ways for better results. any other tips feel free.

Hey Steve, Yes mix your nutes first and in order. Grow, micro, bloom. Additives are just that don't count them in your tds. Mine could get as high as 2000 in full bloom with additives.. As for formula's, there are many. If it's your first folow the directions or look in the faq's section on GH 3 part and stage of growth. I use the lucas formula and see no difference with or with out the add ons. Some may be good I have not tried them all.
Let us know what you used and how it goes. It helps others that ask the same questions.. What strain are you growing ? Different strains do better with more or less. Someone may help you that has the same or has grown the same. Good luck. Peace.

well i have just used voodoo and pirannah and it has defo made a difference, got a bit bigger yield. but my roots are like i have never seen. they are over 1 inch thick all over the gt404 nft tray. where as without they were say 1cm thick. worthwhile to me but a also use co2 which also makes a big big big diference.

You all should be mixing the Micro first, then grow and last bloom.
Micro is the one mineral that will lock out first most of the time so it's important to mix it well and by adding it first then mix it in will do that.
FYI.

Sorry Steve I used lucas formula so I mix micro first since no grow is used.
If the add ons work, great. Maybe I can try them some day
Hey big Z. Keep us straight. Good to see you here. I'm waiting on good news. Maybe this week, we will see. Plans have not changed.

What results are you getting from the Canna Boost? I was thinking of using the PK13/14 with the Boost but haven't had any replies that would suggest its worthwhile. Also wold the organic Boost be better as for some reason on ebay its cheaper.

Sorry jack I have not tried those yet, I have used several of their products but not that one. Just their additives and boosters I wish I could be more help. Their formula is a secret and I can't find much about the source the use to makeup the minerals.

Thanx Zandor for having a look & replying, much appreciated. As addatives they seem to be given a lot of praise in the Canna marketing bumf. Think I will give them a try as the combination is meant to be better than using the booster alone. When I get them I'll add the info to my log.

Cheers Haze good timing:thumbsup: as I'm on an ebay spree anyway. From what you say it sounds like I can use the Organic Bio Boost & the PK 13/14 together is this correct? I'm not using any other organic products just its a couple of quid cheaper.
If I get them now I should get them in time to use on this grow. Hopefully it will help my monster 4.5' Skunk #1 lady fill out with buds. The Strawberry Cough sounds good, Im going to try some more exotic strains in a couple of grows.

I use PK-13-14 in wk3. I absolutely can tell the difference when I run out and have to do a couple of batches without. It's the only 'magic sauce' in my op.
I otherwise use Canna Vega and Flores and H2O2, 50% @ 1ml/litre per 3-4 days.

Hey Al, do you use the pk from wk3 right up til flush, or just for a brief period? Am just starting to use it myself.
