I burned through 1.5 ounces in a month and a half. My parents bought a house in a new city, so I have no one to smoke with. This is more of a bullshit excuse than a cause, though.
Historically, I smoke weed until I hallucinate. I just have to smoke. All day, all night. I need to mellow this out; I want to get to the point where I can smoke one or two bowls every day and not smoke anymore.
At this point, it's going to take a time-locked safe. Suggestions are appreciated!

No offense, but if you can't control your own weed smoking, there may be other problems. Cannabis is non addictive, so whatever it is it's all in your head, and from reading some of your posts, I believe you should be able to control your own head. 
Try harder. You can do it!

whell from my experiance, i used 2 do the same thing.. i smoked about 1 - 3 grams in a day easy and still want more.. now i just smoke about 1 or 2 bowls and a joint a day, just a couple pointers.. when smokeing try and cough when u inhale instead of exhaleing cough.. this will open up airways that wouldnt normally be reached by just the average puff.. so the high should take more affect and longer lasting, just try it and if it dont work just try differnt techniques.. smokeing siggs will dim the high, and eating most foods will dim the high.. so eat up b4 u smoke up.. also theres the popular bong ;)

Try cooking if you want to smoke less. The last batch of brownies we made used 1oz of decent reg's and were PHENOMENAL  I'm talking giddy, stoned off your ass high. for hours. Not even eating lessened the effects. While I had the brownies I barely smoked, maybe 1-2 bowls a day. Just a thought

Put your stuff in those tiny ziplock bags - they hold maybe a gram or so - and dole it out to yourself over time.   You could freeze them, so it would have to thaw out before you could smoke it.  
Small amounts are fine, like a quarter gram or less a day.  You just have to get used to it. I know that some people are laughing at this.  I used to be the same way when I was younger, when I didn't conserve weed.  A couple of tokes, once or twice a day, can be very satisfying for most smokers.  
Using a vapor pipe or vaporizer is a good idea, also.

ANYWAY, try a vaporizer, which is a very good investment. I'd recommend the volcano, but if you want a smaller, more personal vape there are other choices. Another plus is you can cook with or even re-vaporize your vaped out bud if you really wanna jew it up. ;)
I don't know what else to say, certain people are more susceptible to a psychological addiction due to constant stress and a million other factors... I've never had the problem personally. When I'm done, I'm done. :upsidedow:
When you run out of weed, go out and buy some crack instead of weed. Haha, just kidding...
I think some of the suggestions on here won't work, and some of them might work to an extent. Lol, but to be honest, the only way you can truly do it is by will alone. Oh, and just think... if you don't smoke as much, you'll have more money to spend (maybe even for weed! Hahaha! Just kidding.).

The only solution I have is to just limit your self. Like on a Friday tell your self next week you're only gonna smoke once in the morning and once at night. And just try to keep it that way until you find it easier to limit your self. And it could help to not surround your self with weed. My mistake is every time I try to stop I end up coming on here to chat and I end up right back smoking from being around things about Cannabis too much lol. I know where you're coming from and it is hard to stop when you got the bud in your hands but if you really want to limit your self you can do it.
