Critical Timing!?!

Ok so I was sitting in my garden the other day admiring how well the girls are looking an this ? kinda poped into mind that I have not really seen any real discussion about here on cc. I figured it could be a good topic to throw up here for discussion and/or debate....

We all know its best to harvest at peak time... Depending on strain and prefference you should harvest when most hairs have changed color and most important watch the tricomes to turn cloudy and/ or amber in color. right? An also well known fact is that Cannabis is a light/time sensitive plant which is what triggers flowering. Being that it is a time sensitive plant and that it goes thru light/ dark cycles does that cause the plant to get used to say 'routine' kinda like you and I when we go to sleep and wake up...

I have read many threads stating that the best time to foliar feed your plant is when the lights first come on because that is when the plant is pretty much 'waking up' and that the pores(not sure of exact term) are open to accept nutes better in the plants early hours versus later hours...

OK so my actual question is when you know what day that you are going to harvest. When is the best TIME of day to harvest? In the morning when the plant is waking up and begining its light energy i guess you could call it. Or closer to the end of the day right before it is going to sleep and rest for the night. ???

The only reasn I ask is cause I have watched my plants develope and change through out the day light cycle and notice that the tricomes seem to be most dominant and biggest later in the light cycle rather than when the lights foirst come on. And would/could this affect potency in any way???

I know wierd ? but I just thought that some of the experts out there could use something new to discuss. Like I said I havent realy seen this topic yet and am interested to see what some of you 'experts' have to say about this...

I know with herbs like oregano it's best to harvest in the morning when the oil is most potent. Before the sun gets at it.

well if you leave the lights off for 2 days then it forces the THC out so then :)

You left one off the list.

The proper time to harvest is when the Trichomes are fully mature and not before.

The whole grow you are just waiting for the trichomes to mature anyway so why would you pick then before they are ready? Trichomes don't watch the calandar and they mature at their own schedule.

There is no Scientific proof of that stone, The glands may get larger but that does not mean theTHC increases. Robert Clark has found that when the lights are back on the trichomes will return back to their compact state but he still has not published why.

Sorry gas but the pistil's (hair) has nothing to do with mature trichomes, that is a total myth dude.
