How do you like your joints?

As I was toking with my friend after he got out of work, I realized that everyone's joints are different. How do you roll your joints?

Example: In my part of spain, weed is almost impossible to come by, but hash is very abundant and cheap. When my friends roll joints with it, they have to mix it with tobacco, so my friends (and every other spaniard I saw rolling) use the tip of a cigarette (1 centimeter or so) as a mouthpiece. A lot of people just put weed in a paper, roll it, and twist both ends.

What I like to do because it gives great hits and is easy and fast to do, is roll up a thin piece of cardboard (pieces of business cards are ideal) and use that as a mouthpiece to roll the apper over so the paper doesn't seal shut, and the weed doesn't fly into my mouth when I take a drag.

I use a rolling machine, and the filters that you get when you buy Raw brand papers in bulk.

The way I do it, they end up looking like a cigarette in both size and uniformity (if I use white papers), which makes them very stealth, and no one questions me when I'm smoking one, as long as I'm not within smelling distance. Also I just like how well they smoke using this method, and the filter prevents duck lipping the joint.

I actually really dislike hand rolled joints, but Im picky.

Usually i just put some weed in, then roll it back and forth a couple times..then i lick the gum and work my way from the roach to the top..after im done, if theres weed that fell out ( which there always is) i put it in the top and take a pencil or something and press it on.. makes it tight-ish :jointsmile:

I use Zig Zag papers and my joints come out looking as close to a machine rolled cigarette as is possible. In other words I roll perfect joints and will not smoke my joints with bogarts that do not know how to toke properly.

Used to use that cardboard shit, but i gave that up when i learned how to roll properly, if you know how to roll you shouldnt have bud flying into your mouth and shit.
I like my joints fat and dank. Zig Zag 1 1/4's are the shit, and for the fattttttttyyyss its EZ Wider. Worst papers ever are jokers.

With higher quality pot, I used to roll with one and a half sheets of Zig Zag Cutcorners. After trying many brands and sizes of papers over the years, that type seemed to burn best with most good pot, and was the least noticable in the smoke.

For bigger joints of regular-quality pot a sheet of larger paper or two sheets of standard-sized papers, like Bambu or Job, would suffice.

I roll my joints using purely weed. I usually pack it as full as I can too. I like to use Zig Zag papers, and the dollar bill method. Which I learned from my father way back when I didnt even know what "marijuana" was :thumbsup:

i like to the have the mouthpiece on them small, or i just roll them like a cigarette, dont use cardboard unless i have to and shit like that...

I rarely use a filter, plop two loads of whatever i am rolling on either end so it evenly distributes itself through the center while rolling, and then i seal it.

It all depends on how 'dank/wettish' the weed is. If it's dank has some slight moisture to it, it has to be rolled up loose or it won't burn right, and you can't draw smoke.

If the weed is dry or dryish, then I roll it up tighter the drier the weed is.

Now, 85% of the time, I cannot roll due to my hands being uncapable to due to a medical condition, so sometimes I have to use a joint roller. Controlling how tight or how big it is can be difficult with a roller, but if you want a fair sized joint about the size of cigg, then it can do that very nicely.

I always use a filter in the end. I don't like that term filter with it as it's just a piece of rolled yup cardboard in the mouthpiece, and it doesn't filter anything at all. I usually refer to that piece as a roach or a handle.

The only reason I use a cardboard roach in the end, is so I have something to hold onto to, to smoke the entire joint. I always hated keeping the little butt ends of joints as they stink like hell, pain in the ass and tedious to remove little chunks of weed from sticky, smelly paper, and I find it much easier to just smoke the last 3 rips than keeping a little butt.

Funny story...when my friend went to the marijuana march in NYC he was picking up some roaches from the ground on the street...needless to say he rolled a full joint using all the little roaches he picked up...that's fucking insane.

I then pack the little bits of ganj into one end of the tube, while the other end is still on the pen. I pack down the bud with another pen, and I keep doing this until the joint is full, then I twist down one end and put a spliff at the other. It takes awhile, and it's a good tight joint, but I wish I could roll with just my hands.

Can't learn till you try. Instead of doing that pen thing, just keep trying to roll joints...mine are pretty shitty but they sure as hell get the job done, and sure as hell stay lit, and sure as hell burn at a rather decent pace. Sure I 'naturally' ahd the ability to make basic marijuana cigarettes, but hey the more you do, the better you get. You can't be THAT bad..just take a little more time.

Normally i use king size blues coz i cant get silvers, but i like the silvers the most out of all the rizlas.

If i could, i'd roll with marleys all the time, but i cant get them around me.

My second choice would probably be blue zig zag slims with the water mark.

I think that joint was rolled with blue rizlas, but im not sure. It was a kingsize L skin.

Me, I have gone through an evolution of rolling for the past 13 years or so. I rolled blunts that long ago and been rolling joints & blunts ever since. Damn, wish I kept count. LOLOL.

Anyway, my current (and most preferred method) is backrolled (http://youtube.com/watch?v=ta4IVbG0dXw) with a rolled-up cardboard tip (so I am left with no roaches or smelly fingers) and rolled cone-styliee. Oh, and 100% ganja...no bacci for me. I might add some keif or hash, but nothing else...other than love :lovestruck:

I pinch and roll the tobacco out of a cigarette, then pull the filter out and replace with a cardboard roach. Then I fill it with a 80:20 nug to tobacco mix. Looks just like a cigarette.

It makes smoking that much better when you know it's your own work of art you're smoking, rather than a pre-rolled factory cigarette being stuffed :/.

Yeah I agree.. but the cigarette method is useful when you need some extra stealth.. say you're goin to a theme park or a concert and you need to smoke up somewhere people might be able to see but not smell.. gives you a better chance of avoiding security guards, pigs, and people who might try and tax..
but yeah it does supremely take the piss to make lmao
