Are you digging current bands or living in the past? :hippy:

1970s for me, without a doubt.

It's all good.
P.S. I really like foxtrots from around 1910 to 1925.

I can't answer this

Every decade has it's merits, and it's impossible to choose. The actions of each decade affected and shaped the music of the next.

agreed. but the decade you grew up with shapes you. I'd say 90's.

I disagree. I grew up with as much music from past decades as the current one.

i was born in 1988 and i grew up with absolutely zero music from the 1990s... i'm not really sure how that happened... i was born and raised on a mixture of classic rock and southern rock (like, allman bros, lynyrd skynyrd, neil young). popular/contemporary music wasn't introduced into my life until about 2001.

so i grew up with my head in the 60s/70s and i wish my body coulda been there too! :p

I said the 60s (but the 70s are just as important) cause anyone who knows me knows I can't live without a daily dose of Hendrix, The Doors (Jim Morrison is my hero), and Zepplin. But I really dig what's happening in the world of rock these days. Bands like Stonesour, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, etc. etc. etc are really bringing a lot of talent to a genre that struggled after the collapse of the grunge scene.

really good poll,i had to say the seventies as thats the era of the music i most listen to now, zepplin floyd the who.but my all time fav is frank zappa who covers lots of decades,i think it all depends what you grew up with, what your parents and friends listen to.
