I"m pretty much literally BLIND without my contacts/glasses. I wear both.

I wear glasses all the time. I'm far sighted and blind as hell without them.

I don't bother with contacts. I had them once, but they were hard on my eyes, a lot of nit-picking maintenance that goes along with it, and not to mention they were expensive as hell.

So I said fuck it. Got some glasses and personally I don't mind them at all. Makes me look smarter than I really am. ;)

well, i wasn't really paying attention, just really stoned, and flipping around, and i settled on blue's clues (woohooo!!! childhood memories....) and so yeah, i wasn't paying attention, but then blue started SINGING!!! as in, a song...no barking talk, a freakin song...i was like "what the fuck? that's crazy!"

I wonder if so many people wear glasses because of computer and television screens? I mean it can't be good or natural for your eyes to stare at them as much as we do, and when I was a kid my eyes hurt so bad all the time, till I found out it was because of my TV addiction and it got better when I stopped looking at any screens. When I was a kid my vision was 20/13 in my right eye and 20/15 in my left. I could read the small copyright information at the bottom of the chart. That shit is deteriorating though.. with all the smoke that gets in my eyes, and all the sun damage from not having sunglasses... Im lucky if theyre even 20/20 anymore. Im sure Ill either need glasses or lasik in the future. Fuck contacts though.. Ill be happy sportin some glasses I dont give a fuck.

I dont' know, you're nearsighted or farsighted depending on the way your natural eye lense is mis-shaped and bends the light to a slightly different part of your retina, hence causing a blur. The glasses redirect the beams of light to the right part of the retina. Having an external artificial lense will not 'correct' your vision that I know of...whether you use them or not, it's going to stay the same or get worse either way.

i mostly wear my contacts, no one knows i wear glasses because i hardly ever wear them. im really okay with contacts regardless of what everyone else says about them, they're not that hard to take care of but relative to glasses, sure yeah they are.

So I went to get my eyes checked a few months ago and let me tell you..do NOT go to the optometrist stoned..because they KNOW. My blood vessels were all sorts of fucked up. But anyway, something in my eye is a spiral while it should be more branching out. I think that's what they told me. Creeeepy. I don't know if that has anything to do with my deteriorating vision.

I have a swolen optic nerve in my left eye, but it causes no problems. I used to have to go to the hospital for check ups every few months for about 4 years before they realised it wasnt doing anything, so now i havnt got to worry about it. I had scans and had a dye put in my blood so they could see all that shizzle, i cant think what it's called. I pissed orange for a day and a half - but no one told me i'd be pissing it out untill i did. I thought i was dying LOL.
