It's hard to say, but there is an easy way to find out...just give your bud a little taste...if it's sweet like sugar, then it's gotta be sugar.

I'm leaning towards a high quality camera perhaps. If it is a good camera, like I have seen before, it picks up very fine detail, and in closer up, like the threadstarters picture, it can show very, very fine detail.

I'm guessing what we see in that picture is something we cannot see with the naked eye. Cameras these days can capture things without zooming really closeup to capture things we simply can't see with our eyes alone. I have seen closeups of buds that looked just like that before. I'm guessing it's really good bud.

But it does look like sugar, but like I said, there is an easy test to taste for any foreign substances that may have been added. By taste, I mean lightly lick the bud or something. Don't eat any. :p

Ok, i've seen it now. I'm not sure, so i cant say for definate - there alot of trichomes on it, that's for sure. But theres alot of other clearish crystalls on it that dont completely look like trichomes. They may have been compressed slightly distorting their shape - but i must admit i did see a few straight edges and almost squarish looking things.

But, if it wasnt kief you would have realised by now, so i think it's safe.

It might have gotten compressed and the trichs all got smashed on or something. I haven't really heard of anyone in the US getting sprayed bud, only in the UK. If it was $180 and gets you ripped then it's probably just some wierd looking dank (provided you got it from a reliable hook).

There are some pictures in the cannabible that make the trichomes look like brown sugar crystals stuck together when they're really magnified.

i hate to say this but i know dealers that used ti break codeine pills, then soak it in some medicince syrup (dont remember which one) and then roll the buds in it. That would make the bud look something like what you have amd make it a little more sticky. The high off that shit is strong but very very dangerous... Be careful smoking that. I dont know what it is but if you notice anything wierd on the high you get or in looks/smell/taste, i thing you should pay your dealer a visit...

Try burning some of the bud without smoking it and see if it burns like sugar does when flame touches it. Also if you tried any how was the smoke? Harsh? Did the weed pop or collect a lot of black thick shit and smell funny? How does it taste and all that? I would hate for you to smoke that shit man it just doesn't look right. I'd suggest maybe taking one of the buds...putting it between your hands and then kind of rubbing your hands together to see if/how the stuff/trichromes fall off, then examine them more.

Sorry you and King Kush are wrong. I really don't want to say it but I can't let people have confused opinions about that thing. Look at that bud as long as you need to. That is NOT untainted bud. I don't know how often you guys get weed that looks like that but I sure wouldn't be smoking it. It's impossible, everything from the bud to the trichomes lose it's size when it's dried so there's no possible way they would stay that big. And even if it's weed that hasn't dried and lost it's weight it's still fucked up because it has been with other buds in a plastic bag and if it's still wet then that's still bad because there's chance for mold. Looks nothing like bud I'd smoke and if it's not sugar it looks molded. I could show the most crystal coated bud I've ever seen if you like and it still won't look anything like this.
