A geeks Life

Well I guess I'm a geek cause I'm a Christian. That kind sucks cause I always thought I was cool. My reality has come crashing down. So I have to spill the beans on what it's like living as a geek.

1) I don't fear death cause I know where I'm going after I die. Cronic Feilds in heaven. With God yelling "get off my lawn Mike. I gave you your own lawn to roll around in."

2) I don't have guilt from smoking cause I know that God made it for me and the rest of you geeks that smoke.

3) If things go bad this geek knows they will get better cause my geeky Lord said they would.

4) All the good things that happen and I didn't have control of, this geek knows where and who they came from.

5) After an afternoon of partaking in the gift from God this geek knows his creater loves him cause no one except a stoner could make ice cream taste so good. Taste Buds. Thanks God....

6) When people start giving this geek a hard time for being a geek this geek doesn't get upset because this geek has read his Bible and it told him people would give him such a hard time.

These have been just a few life happenings that make me glad to be a geek living for something.

This is one my #1 arguments about god.

You have free will given to you by god. SO if you do somthing bad oh well your going to hell its your fault you didnt repent you had a choice to and you chose wrong. so there you are fucked because somthing bad happened to you but its your fault that these bad things happend to you after all you have free will. But any time somthing good happens its because of god not because of you. Whats that about doesnt sound like a fair god to me. Just taking all crdeit for the good. If there is a god though somewhere im sure thats not how it is thats just how the beings made it on earth.

Buddha-

In my belief system it's not who's bad and who's good. I'm sure bad people made it into heaven as well as the oposite good people in hell. It's not in my opinion whos bad and good it's who believe's and obeys. The believe part is believe there was a man named Jesus that was God's son and was sinless. The son was perfect and we were not so we needed something to make us perfect to God. Just as in the old test people would sacrifce animals to clean them from sin we need that. Jesus was perfect exactly what God was looking for to clean us. By Jesus taking all our sins on his shoulders and leaving us clean we had a way to be "good" in God's eyes. The obey part is jsut as Jesus said Love your neighbor as yourself. Or respect and tend to those you see in need and even those with out need. All in all be good. I don't knwo if I'm making sense or not but I hope I am. In my opinion it's simple:

1) Believe
2) Obey

No set rules like the ten commandments, just beleive and be nice.

I see God as fair because we choose where we end up. Good and Bad really don't have much to do with anything. I was very bad when I was younger. I grew up and matured knwo I think I'm ok not good but ok. But I know my Lord knows what I'm going through and knows my heart. He loves me and will always forgive me. Grace.

Again I hope I made sense if not just halla.

Mike my man some good thoughts. Im not sure any of my questions were answered but i havent gotten a good answer to anything in a long time. Your faith and love for god is inspiring if i already hadnt come to my own conclusions about god that would have made me believe. It sounds so simple and nice.

hey, I dont believe in God, and i'm not a Christian, but can I be a geek too?

1) I don't fear death cause I don't know where i'm going when I die. I could go to Hell, or there's just as much chance that i'll go to those Cronic Feilds in heaven and meet meek mike :p or maybe nothing will happen! i dont know, so im not gonna fear it! if i took that attitude, i'd never cross a road, incase there MIGHT be a bus coming the other way!

2)I don't have guilt from smoking cause I know that weed is natural, like anything else on this earth, and all of us geek's have the right to use it, no matter who you are!

3) If things go bad this geek knows they will get better cause i'll do my best to make them better! you trust in God, i trust in myself and the people in my life! :)

4) All the good things that happen and I didn't have control of, this geek doesnt know where and who they came from, but is thankful for them just the same. Not everything has an explanation

5) When people start giving this geek a hard time this geek doesn't get upset because this geek just shrugs it off and smokes another one :p

hey mike, you believe, I don't... but fuck it, as long as we all got respect for eachothers beliefs, then we can all be geeks :)

Thanks for that, Geek - Meek - Mike...whew! I absolutely could not agree with you more, except, Christ is no Geek. We are the Geeks. Christ is superior to the angels and Christ is superior to the Prophets. He is our High Priest before God, and He is superior to the Geeks, who are infinitely Geeky times nine. This is simply a technicality - I understand completely the contaxt of your post. Just wanted this clarification for the sake of prudence through this thread.
