MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. - A man who called police when clerks refused to refund his money when he decided to not stay at their motel ended up with free accommodations anyway - at the county jail.

Phillip Ruch, 26, had checked into the Ramada Inn about 1 a.m. Wednesday but decided after a few minutes that he didn't want to stay there. When employees refused to give him his money back, he called police to complain about the motel's service.

Officers discovered an outstanding warrant for Ruch on a felony marijuana delivery charge and also found more than five ounces of marijuana in the pocket of a fishing vest inside Ruch's car.

Ruch was being held at the Baxter County jail Wednesday morning pending a court hearing.

If you got 5 ounces on you and a felony warrent, be the most polite reasonable person in the world.

dumbass people do this all the time. My favorite story was about a kid who handcuffed himself to his dad for fathers day so he could spend he whole day with him. Then either the mom or the dad called the police to undo the handcuffs and they found a warrant for the guys arrest. The guy got arrested on fathers day. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. I wonder what they did the next fathers day.

Man calls 911, reports stolen marijuana

The Associated Press

WICHITA -- A Wichita man called 911 to report that he was the victim of an armed robbery.

The theft? A pound of marijuana worth about $1,100 that he had been trying to sell at his home.

The victim told police that a buyer had pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and stole the drugs.

Police brought in a drug-sniffing dog to the house and located more marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The victim was booked into Sedgwick County jail on several charges, including possession with the intent to sell drug.

The thief hasn't been found.

The first few times you hear some one reporting stolen drugs it's funny. But the sad truth is that this story has been run thousands of times with slight variations in detail with different people. It's scary how fucking stupid people are.
