Here are some pics for this year. I have one prize plant and a bunch of bagseeds. The prize is from the white family, but I'm not too sure which cross it is.
I decided to grow a few plots this year, but one was mowed down by something, I'm not shure what. However, I think if all goes well, and they are not messed with again, most should survive.

Looks good man, What are you doing to compete with the drought here this year? Between the late freeze we had and this damn drought my outdoor is all dead. I had to resort to growing in trash cans outside just so they could retain some water. Anyways good luck with the grow, Its nice to see another TN grow. Someones outdoor plot just got murdered in powell, 46 plants. It made the news and KPD website, they never caught the person.

Hey stilkikin, sorry to hear about your crop.
Well, I put some moisture gells down and water about every week or two. Fortunatlly I planted after the last freeze...I was going to plant, but waited and a few days later the temps went down again....lucky me.

Here are some more pics. It looks like my little splint worked fine the plant is quite healthy, unfortunatlly, I am begining to think it's a male. I do see several that I think are female though I still need to wait and make sure...I have been wrong before.

Thanks for the post Fireitup!
Well, here are some more pics. They are growing fast, and many are begining to show some nice pre-flowers. I still think that the bigun is a male though. I am sooo pleasently supprised with the patch that got moed down; it is really taking off now. Only another month before we start to see some flowers...woohoo!

Hi medmj<3er, and welcome. Thanks for checking out the thread. I hope you find what your looking for.
Here are some more pics. They are flowering kinda slow, but I just now gave them some flowering ferts, so that may be why. I would have usually given them some in the begining of the month.
They are all between 8-9 feet tall and are finally finished stretching and shouldn't be getting much taller. I can't wait to see some nice big buds. I just hope that they will fully develop before it gets too cold.
P1: Plot 1
P2: Plot 2
P3-5: various flower pics
enjoy

Awesome pics man! What kind of camera do you have?
And about your comment hoping it doesn't get cool too soon for them - based on the weather we've been having there's not a lot of worry for that :)

Hay jaggy, welcome to the boards!!
Thanks for the complement. I have a decent 5 mega pixle digital camera...nothing special, but it does take some good pics. I was worried when it started getting down in the 70s-80s, but as you mentioned, we're back up in the 90s.

I have an Olympus D-SLR 8 megapixel camera - i really love photography. I have a few close-up shots that I oughta send you :)
Yeah it did cool off for a while there for sure... I live here in Nashville and this heat is killer again though. My office is on the southern exposure of the building and it heats up like, right now in the afternoon. I've got my fan blowing, haha..

10-08-2007, 09:50 PM
Ya, I just love a "test drive" as you call it. It will keep me busy while they finish up. Plus I will get a little taste of what's to come. The other plants will still need a while longer to mature, so hopefully the weather will hold out....we broke a record today; 95o.
dylan
10-12-2007, 08:15 PM
Well, weather man says "rain early next week". I need to harvest the most mature plant because it has a little bit of bud rott. I haevested a little of the plant I will be taking down; about 1/8 or so. Here are a few pics. What do you think?

Thanks gt420, unfortunatly I don't know the strain...it's bagseed, but it should still be good.

So in TN you don't have deer or other little critters to worry about eating your crop?
I'm moving to nashville in Dec. from CA and I'd like to do a little farming this spring.

Deer is a problem in some places...LEO flyover choppers in August/Sept..is a much bigger problem.
Beware, this is a land of harsh penalities....Welcome to the neighborhood....

Here are a few more harvest pics.
P1: This is another plant we harvested on Sat. It was broken about 1/2 way through flowering, and the buds seemed to get stunted, so most of this plant are going to be popcorn buds.
P2: This is my third of the first plant to go down ( I have two partners). It is begining the curing phase.
P3: Some nice buds taking a breather.
P4: Macro on white.
P5: Macro on black.

Here are a few cured out bud pics.
P1&2: A nice macro of a bud from the first wave harvest.
P3: A bud from the second wave harvest.
P4: The purple dried and starting to cure(not that purple and kinda leafy).
