hey all...i've heard that they have low germ rates then others say they are great...any1 with experience with any KC Strains...i know there not as good as 150 dollar packs but for 20 bucks i would expect a lil variation...are they a company with good genetics or what? There strains look pretty nice but i'm unsure if its worth a try?

the reason i ask is i'm looking for some good newby strains that will give a good yield...i like the looks of their Northern Light Special and the Afghani Special...love my indicas but can't spend a lot of cash...is Nirvana a better low budget company or they bout the same? I want an all indica plant with a great couch-lock (hopefully 100% indica)...with a good yield...not really worried bout the smell but its gotta be an affordable indica with good yields and a strong buzz...would rather compromise on taste, smell, etc. for potency and yield in a very strong indica

if your really interested in a mostly indica northern lights I would not buy kc brains northern lights special, would probably buy nirvana northern lights or dutch passions oasis they are both reasonable priced.
besides possibly poor germination rates and most of kc brains seeds being hybrids that may throw several different phenotypes they are ok in my opinion and you could get some decent plants from there seeds but his northern lights special is supposedly a cross with a sensi nl and haze from what ive read and although its been a few years since ive tried his northern lights special it does seem to have alot more sativa in it than most versions of northern lights.

I have NO experience with KC Brains gear - that said, I must add that his reputation is terrible the last couple of years, according to Forums like this, at other websites - sounds like he used to have a good rep, and everything soured lately - bad germ rates, raging hermies, just poor quality overall - those are the comments I've seen most - I don't buy from him, as he has nothing I'm much interested in ... for a cheaper, good yielding, powerful sativa high, try Joey Weed's NL99, available at Hemp Depot, very easy growing no-odor plant, too - good luck - :smokin:

thanks...but for some reason they never came thru the soil after they cracked...can't seem to figure out went wrong...maybe i left em in the dish too long or something...gonna try some of their other strains i purchased to see if its the seeds (KC) or the germinater (ME)?

I grew Cyber Crystal from K.C in 2001 Two of my seeds came crushed, six out of the other eight germinated and four were males. I wasnt satisfied, on the other hand the two females I did get were fantastic.
