View Full Version : Getting a Vaporizer

So I decided to finally get a Vaporizer, mainly because I want to smoke in college and this is the safest way, but I also want to be a healthy smoker. The only problem is I really have no idea where to start.

I have looked over Vapos before, and from what I heard the Volcano is worth every penny you put into it, but I am not sure if that is the first one that I should get (It does cost a lot of money :( ). Also I saw that for the Volcano there are extra bags. Do you need to buy extra bags a lot? Do they deteriorate?

So can anyone suggest a good Vapo, and even better a website that offers discreet packaging and billing. Pricing right now only matters to the fact that if I spent it all on a Volcano, I would just end up spending less on Ganja for a while.

I don't know that one looks like it might be the one where you have to hold the whip up to the heat element. You should do a search on ebay or whatever with the keywords "hands free vaporizer"

I have an herbalaire. works great in the same fashion as a volcano ... but half the price.

I saw this in another thread, looks pretty good. I like the all-glass features.

You do hold the tube to the heating rod thing. It really isn't a hassle..imho.

Personally I don't onw a vaporizer but I have relatives that have purchased a few. I have a cousin that purchased the volcano and that has been by far the best high I have ever gotten. Nothing but str8 THC.

My freind bought a cheaper type of vaporizer (I even forgot it's name) but it wasn't all that great.

It is also my understanding that for the volcano you will need extra bags at one point, and not to mention you do have to clean it every so often (not sure if you will need a cleaning kit for the volcano). Personally, I would love to own a volcano, but the prices are ridiculous. But to be a healthy smoker, it's worth every penny.

Vapes are the shit. Even lightbulb vapes are good in my experience...plus the leftover weed can be used to cook with.

How much THC is left over in the weed to cook with? Could you simply take the leftover weed and throw it in something or do you have to go through the same process of getting it trapped in something fatty?

I would assume so.

Granny makes some great brownies with her "left-overs"! I just chuck the used weed into some homemade brownie batter, add some walnuts and hemp nuts and it's great! I have a little Vapor Bros and it was worth every penny! The hubby and I vape the heck out of our weed, and it still will get us high a second time when we eat it. - Granny:hippy:

I own a vaporiser and I was given/lent one.

The Blue Meanie (http://www.vaporinfo.com/the-blue-meanie.php) was the one I was given and it literally cooks the weed. Not very good if you are trying to escape 'smoke'. That was quite a cheap vaporiser that will get you high (if it doen't cook your weed first).

I didn't give up with vaporisers even though the blue meanie was a little on the crap side.. I then bought a Vapureyes (http://www.vapureyes.com/). By far not as expensive as the volcano but in my opinion worth the neat pricetag. Nice and small and usable in the car as it runs off 12V. If I wasn't always on the move I'd vape all the time, but joints are just more a convenience.

If you get high off of the weed a second time, it means the vaporizer isn't as efficient as people say it is then, right?

Do more research man .
Vapos use a better part of the thc but not the canaboids . So when you cook w/ vape-overs you get the last remaining bit of thc plus all the unused canaboids .
