I wrote an article on marijuana reform not so long ago. I submited it to a local media outlet, and it was published!

That's awesome, Tom. Congrats. I think it's safe to say that we all support people who take action and actually do something to speak out about reform. Good stuff, man. Bravo.

I'm sorry man, not to criticize you but this actually kind of angered me. I appreciate the effort you had, but you should have definitely included much mroe information, and possibly citations...reading those comments really pissed me off...beyond belief. Not your fault I guess, but those ignorant, unknowledgable commentors did a great job of bursting my bubble...i can't take much more of this stupid ignorance.

I understand completely.

What I actually aimed to do in this article is try to stray away from hard factual statistics. I wanted it to be more or less an opinionated peice.

The owner of the site and I are actually in talks in providing me with a full time slot on the site. If this is the case, the facts shall also be shared.

Ah, makes sense. You wanted a more subjective piece, rather than an objective essay. Well you did get your point across, but again, those responses people left really got to me. No matter what evidence you show those people, there's always the brainwashed ones that will never truly see.
