I am back after taking a little time off because my last grow was very disappointing (4 plants, 4 males), this time i am changing my methods to see if i can yield better results. This is pretty a practice run for my new setup, i am only growing two plants atm and if everything is successful this cab im using now will be the vegging cab while another one will be built for flowering.
And now for the equipment, new equipment priced in ()
1. 2x 32 gallon plastic bins ($8 each)
2. reflective tape ($9)
3. 1x 12in oscillating fan for intake
4. 2x stationary fans for exhaust
5. 2x 2 gallon pots
6. 8qt bag of MG Seed starting soil ($4)
7. 8qt bag of MG Perlite ($4)
8. 1x 400w hps light 50,000 lumens
9. remote temperature sensor ($10)
10. Soldering iron to make holes
11. 2x Top44 seeds
As you can see I have used my soldering iron to cut square holes, 1 at the bottom for intake, 2 at the top for exhaust, and 1 circle hold for the bulb. Later when this cab is converted to vegging i will install 120mm fans at least 70 cfm each. It could use more lightproofing but is fine for now. I just planted the seeds last night and im looking forward to a quick germination. Any questions/comments would be most appreciated.
