i don't like or dislike Akon particularly, but speaking as someone who's performed on stage i think that was pretty amusing. People who throw things at concerts deserve everything they get. Last year one of my best mates almost lost an eye after being hit in the face with a bottle, so i have no sympathy for that kid.

Haha that's great. That's why the last thing you do is throw something on the stage, especially at the artist...that's a no no. I've seen videos of concerts erupting in mayham from shit like that.

That's not the whole video though, I saw another one where you see whatever thrown at him, then he asks the crowd to point the kid out...which they do, and then he sends security to get the kid and bring him to the stage. Funny shit.

Anyway, I wouldn't say he's a badass for that, he's just the man anyway. Great artist who I'd love to see in concert.

Now that I think about, I wouldn't want to go to an Akon concert if he was the only one there or the main act. But, I wouldn't mind seeing him. I'm not the biggest on singing either, but he's got a nice voice...and he's extremely talented. He's also got some more 'hardcore' shit that you might like if you don't like the singing and that shit. But he's still one of the best 'hook' guys in the game. He'll make almost any song better.

Yeah we disagree about most things Plant, but that's alright...makes thing more interesting. Once I heard "Locked Up", I've really liked the guy...he can fit in with basically any type of music.

I got both his albums, and they are both very good. Not to mention like every other song out he is featured on.

I'de like to point something out here for a second...

It's one thing to dislike or even disapprove of someones style/music (or anything for that matter) but to react hostile towards that in which you disagree with is exactly what's wrong with this whole world today.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, belief, and/or outlook on whatever they choose. But that is as far as it should go. To enforce your opinion in a hostile mannar is no longer giving or expressing your opinion it is called dictating...

Turn around and walk away, cover your ears, or go take a seat and slurp a few more down. Reacting hostile will only leave you facing more hostility. There's just no logic to it at all. No matter how you look at it.

Now, if you like fighting, hostility and never being safe even in your own bathroom IRAQ is the place for you!

As far as Akon bein a "bad ass" well, heh, lets just say that throwin someone off stage doesn't make you a "bad ass", it's the stack of money he's counting after he steps off stage and gets on his bus that makes all the difference...In my opinion anyways...
