Found this light (PICS)

So I was taking out my trash today, and I found this little setup laying next to the dumpster. I think it's a fluorescent setup, but that's about all I can figure out (I'm new here). Can anyone confirm this? Could I grow with something like this, or would I need more? Thanks!:jointsmile:

its florencent and i think u can but ima noob too soo ask the pros...lol i need all teh help i can get too if u have a plant or sumthin i can help a bit more...

i wouldn't touch that shit with a 10 foot pole when it was plugged in. i see bare wires. that light is fluoro but it's burned out, get a new one. good fine anyways, obviously was used for a grow lol.

and fix that shit wiring before you use it.

if i were you i wouldnt waste your time with flos go with real light Mh for veg and HPS for flower

i agree if you cant afford both go hps. there are so many places to get the lights you need. pick up a high times. Hydroponics Supply and Grow Lights, at Advancedindoor.com (http://www.advancedindoor.com), Discount Hydroponics - Home Page (http://www.discount-hydro.com) etc.

thanks and yea im on a real tight budget only a few bucks left in the bank but after i [hopefully] harvest and watever comes next ill buy a new setup with all the right stuff...

thanks for the info guys. i actually did plug it in and turn it on, and i wasn't electricuted! the light actually works too. kinda surprising.

You can get multispectrum bulbs that are actually cheaper than most single HPS/MH bulbs, obviously good on a budget but you may need to replace them faster because they are doing the all the work.
