I have no clue, but it happened. Maybe if there are any lawyers on here they can shed some light on this. But even though weed dosn't discriminate I'm pretty sure there aren't alot of lawyers on these boards. But even if you're in college studying law, any input would help.

This wasn't shoplifting, they robbed a guy at gunpoint in the street. I don't have much up sympathy for people that commit armed robbery, even if the victim only had two dollars on him. The kid was an idiot to use weed while he was on probation, especially after he was going to get off scot-free.

i ain't saying he should have got off free.... but damnit, he didn't deserve life in prison... (MY BROTHER'S MURDER GOT 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) this is unfucking believable to me...
the guy fucked up, he deserves to spend time in prison/jail that's without a doubt... but fucking life? no damn way... armed robbery or not i can't get my mind around it..
i mean here you have this guy who obviously robbed someone with a weapon, who got life, and on the other hand, someone who shot and murdered a person (and was proven without a dout to of murdered said individual) and he got 2 years....
don't seem fuckin right to me...
the thing that really churns my stomach is the entire thing is based on weed... on getting high... it had nothing to do with his crime... he got his sentence then used weed and got caught and the judged extended it to life....
just try and explain the logic in that.

I'm happy he's being let out, that's all that I can say. I'm sure being sentenced to life in prison for that will change his mind about doing it again, eh? I mean, that man's been in jail as long as I've been alive!

When he was given probation for ARMED ROBBERY, the judge probably told him to keep clean, or he'd throw the book at him. He apparently didn't listen. He also got himself into all kinds of trouble in jail with gangs, fighting the guards, etc. I agree that life was too harsh a sentence for his misdeed(s) but he wasn't exactly a model prisoner, either.

I agree.
While the fact that a life sentence for THC usage is completely absured, it has more to do with principal than what substance was used. Basically in this sutuation I'de say the kid just doesn't get it.
It could have been anything. Hell the boy could have had a begal with poppi seeds on it....Imagine that. :smokin:
Keep principals on the table at ALL times...That's how I see it.
