I can't tell if this is just a thread for men or not. But it'll happen to the ladies, too. I'm 45, brunette, and I have a gray patch on top of my head that I pay good money to have skillfully covered up. Then I have a few streaks added in for variety. I inherited a graying gene from my dad, which isn't fair. My sister doesn't seem to have that at all. Anyway, I'm not letting any grays show through till I'm in my 50s, and then only a few. I wont go all the way gray until I'm in my late 60s, I've decided.

i won't care and i'm honestly confused why anyone gets embarased by it.... i mean you just said it yourself... it's going to happen to all of us anyway
my dad is not even 50 and nearly completely bald, the brother who died had really thin hair, so he would've ended up bald too... me and my other brother on the otherhand, have thick ass hair, mines thicker then his tho... my hair is literally like dog fur... i don't think i'll go bald...

I started going gray at 16 or 17... I'm 30 now, and I'm not salt&pepper yet, but if my hair is a little long and I don't gel it, you can see gray flecks all over, from 20 feet away! I used to gel my hair everyday, for that reason, but once I turned 30, I quit caring. I hardly do anything with my hair now, besides getting it cut every 3 weeks.

I'm 50. Have some gray at the temples and a few strands in the rest. Still mostly dark. I won't dye it even when it gets grayer. I feel lucky just to have hair of any color when I look at some of the guys I know.
yeah ur right Dave any hair is betta than none just gonna take some time to get used to it .Today i join the grey army ...lol

dye never looks real on dudes
and a grey goatee is hotness anyway
My hairs getting a bit thin and greying around my crown. But thats it.
My back hair, chest hair, stomach hair, leg hair, arm hair, facial hair, pubic hair and nose hair[ LOL] are still brown.
If i went completely brown, i'd probably have to shave it. Although i'd look more like a dildo than i do now ROFL.
Actually, my temples are receeding a bit too. Damn, i dont like looking in the mirror.

i started getting grey hair when i was 13, my mom started hwne she was 16 and her mother when she was in her 20's. its a genetic trait. at first i pulled them out but when i hit 12th grade they got so bad that i gave up. i started dying my hair, i did for a few months with henna ...but those damn grey roots! eventually i figured they grey gives me a littl bit of something extra. they dont bother me that much, except when people point it out... as if i dont already know.

I just dyed my mom's hair 'cause it was "gettin' a lil gray". (she's 50 and not that gray as it is..so I'm lucky)
I think it looks good, it's more like silver then 'gray'
I say that now, though.
I most likely would dye it, unless I'm like..old.
