1. play the movie. the black and white lion in the MGM logo roars three times. AFTER the THIRD roar, PAUSE the movie.**

2. play '10,000 days.' be sure to set your stereo to 'repeat all tracks'

3. at EXACTLY - 1:44 into 'vicarious,' UNPAUSE/PLAY movie.

4. you know you did it right when the loud 'thud' at the end of 'wings p.1' corresponds to the scene when dorothy's house lands in oz.

5. sit back and enjoy.

****if there's no B/W lion--

1. play the movie. when the credits roll [assuming that you have the original starting credits], the credits fade in and out, so the moment the 'metro goldwin mayer presents' has completely faded out and 'the wizard of oz' main title appears, PAUSE the movie.

2. play '10,000 days.' be sure to set your stereo to repeat all tracks.

3. at EXACTLY - 1:54 into 'vicarious,' UNPAUSE/PLAY movie. the second you do this, maynard should be singing the word, 'monster.'

you may have to do some adjusting, but i suggest you use your dvd player's display clock. even slo-mo it if you have to, but it will work if you be sure to pause it the second the 'metro goldwin mayer presents' has dissappeared and 'the wizard of oz' title is in full.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Dark Side of the Moon!!!

Even the liner notes within the CD booklet errily coincide with story characters-

Maynard : The Wizard

Danny : Glenda the Good Witch

Justine : The Scarecrow

Adam : Wicked Witch of the West

Even if this is just a freak coincidence, it's a pretty sweet one!

Lol...hey not trying to start a war, just voiced my opinion. There are FAR better bands out there both technically and visually that have yet to become part of every teenager's sad obsession as far as I'm concerned though. It's like an ongoing joke in my book...but don't let me bring anyone down. Listen to Tool all you want for I care...Peace and Love. ~

Plant's right, theres plenty of bands that send out the same vibes as Tool without sounding so generic. Theres fuckin acoustic albums more dark and demented than tool, even when they were at their height.

but besides that, how are they gunna make another album sync up to wizard of oz, im pretty sure laturalus did.

idk, listen to whateva you want. tool just sounds too stale for me. with the exception of a a couple songs played few and far between...

Lol that's because you'll grow out of this Tool phase soon enough my good boy...just like you grew out of your diapers way back when...

And no I don't necessarily want a smack down from all you Tool(s) ;), but I'm prepared to do what I have to. ~

Well, for starters, there are far more younger Tool fans than older ones, at least the way I see it....hmmm why is that?? Oh yeah, because all those twenty-something post-Tool fans have moved onto BETTER music....at least I hope.

I say it's a phase because, and again this is only my opinion, Tool is this stale modern rock group responsible for their "dark" following of high school kids who in all likeliness just want to belong to something. To say "hey man, I like Tool, so I'm cool." I'm not saying you are like that, but God knows I know people like this.

And honestly dude, their technical ability really does nothing for me. The chords they play aren't anything to drool over, and for me, it has to be both progressive AND innovative ya know? I've tried giving Tool a listen more than a couple times, and it was just hell for my ears.

I like bands that are not only amazing musicians, but a fun band to see live. I'm not saying Tool's not fun to see live, because I've heard their light shows are out of this world, but I AM saying they aren't anymore talented than, say.....Abba. Hahaha.

Its A Plant, I have a newfound respect for you. I seem to be the only teen stoner/WoW player that doesn't worship TOOL.

"If you worship Tool, you ARE a tool."

I don't know how Tool sound stale... you give me one band that will leave an impression on me like Tool. I bet you can't.

i cant promise itll leave the same impression tool left on you but god damn this shit leaves and impression on me. Just as dark and brooding as tool, without sounding soo..... predictable.

I just think so many people like tool because...well, they are good. No tool fan is going through a phase. Every tool fan knows everything from opiate all the way to 10,000 days.

I JUST THINK YOU DONT GIVE TOOL A CHANCE CAUSE EVERYBODY LIKES THEM! :(

Lol I literally said in my post I've tried to give 'em a chance and see what the hype was all about..but it was just that...HYPE.

The band is about as talentless as it gets for being that popular....honestly lol the music itself just lulls me to sleep. I have to listen to something that takes some real skill to pull off..to each his own though.

And you're defending Pink Floyd?
LOL no, not at all. Most Pink Floyd also puts me to sleep ;)

But if it were between the two, I'd MUCH rather watch Dark Side of the Rainbow..Pink Floyd did it first afterall.
