they're keeping all sorts of nifty stuff in those tunnels. alien artifacts, osama bin laden, an engine that runs on peanut butter and broken dreams, jimmy hoffa and elvis, all of the left socks that disappear in the dryer....
you know, the really important stuff.:wtf:

My company elicits the services of Iron Mountain. It's not really about keeping "secrets" as it is ensuring nobody touches it. It makes sense for the wreckage to be placed there, if that were true, as you don't want vandalism or theft, you don't want parts to appear on eBay.

I guess nobody is getting a giger counter anywhere near the wreckage.....

I was not aware that they stored anything but paperwork at Iron Mountain, but it makes sense. Iron Mountain is likely the largest of many such facilities best known for records storage and management. When referring to materials sent to a storage location, many bankers and business people will say they're in "the warehouse". The trucks of these companies can be seen on NYC streets daily, both picking up and delivering files and other records in boxes and envelopes. It's hardly a "conspiracy" for the government to use one for the safekeeping of 9/11 articles.
