I'm getting pretty tired of living in Alabama, or at least the city I am in and have been looking around on the net for awhile to check out some cool places in the US. Does anyone have some suggestions? There are just too many cities to google at random clicking.

I hear Denver is like the best place to live right now, not for location. But cost of living compared to wages.

Houston was way too hot for me, but it's an alright place. Oh, hey - didn't Denver allow people to carry under an ounce of marijuana legally, but still just get a 100 dollar ticket for carrying it around?

It's legal in Denver, just not for the Feds or the state cops. . .
you should look up where I live now, I was born and raised in Venice, Cali. . .it's a really hard place to leave, but i am renting right now and in L.A. that's like signing a death slip. . .I'l be back though . . .

New England is really the only option you should be thinking of.

I live in The 'Burgh but the weather can be really sucky(seems like its always raining). Be very careful when choosing the area you live in my subdivision sucks and has really stuck up people but just a ten minute drive away is my friends area which is real chill. Also all the movie theaters in my area suck balls, I got laughed at when I asked if there were cup holders. Its a good place but has its share of problems([mellon]arena suck so lots of bands skip the city).
EDIT: I realized I mentioned alot of negatives but thats how most places are if you look at it. Most areas that people like are either tourist traps or you remember great times with friends. So I like it for the second reason.
